Volunteering myself to help with testing stock, unrooted 4.1.2 if there's any testing to be done. I'm sending my MAXX HD back to Moto tomorrow because in addition to flashing 4.1.2 (complete wipe, no protected su copy available), they didn't put the screws back that hold the screen in place. D'oh!

I have been focusing on getting kexec to work on the QCOM motos... so obviously my dev approach will now shift gears.

This should still give hope to the other Motorola products being unlocked in the future. I would think even with different hardware there would still be something similar in unlocking the bootloaders.

Yeah, the OMAP devices are a completely different animal with a very different type of security which is hard coded right into the silicon of the chip. Short of processor replacement or a leaked signature key, I can't imagine how else it could done.

Holy hell this is an awesome feat. Don't care that it doesn't affect Bionics. Hashcode, dhacker and everyone else I'm forgetting has our hookup there with KEXEC.
