I'm running newly installed ubuntu on a 32-bit machine - I've set up adb and adk but I can't get any results from (./adb devices) all I get is "no permissions"
I followed this thread to set it up but then I realized that it was for the nook color - so what I believe is happening is that in step 6 where it says to create the adb_usb.ini then put 0x2080 and 0x18d1 is where the trouble is coming. I'm assuming this is specifically for the nook color and not for the razr.
My question would be am I correct in assuming this is the problem and if so what do I need to change it to?

You're overthinking it... just put your phone in PC Mode instead of Charge Only.
