Anyone know of a cheaper method?
Count me in as I'm interested (a $25 difference as people are suggesting does make or break me).

Considering that these parts can't be found anywhere else, not even from Moto, $109 is not a bad price. Supply and demand baby.

I'm in the same boat as far as pricing but the adhesive should be included regardless.

The tape is included
Installation adhesive is showing as $8. I'm not sure if this is just extra tape or something necessary. I'm aware that it shows that it comes with some tape. I'm just not sure if that's all the necessary tape

As far as tools go, I've got more than my share of spares around my place. Any one got a better pic of the finished product, as well as a personal testimonial on the construction?

They're OEM parts so they should be identical to the parts that would be from an original MAXX. They're meant to fix someone's busted MAXX.

I apologize for my ignorance in this matter, but I saw a Razr owner do something similar along these lines with parts from a Maxx, and it looked like butt .They're OEM parts so they should be identical to the parts that would be from an original MAXX. They're meant to fix someone's busted MAXX.
Come to think of it, I think DL showed an example... here it is :
I'm just wondering if this kit will make a clean install, that's all... not like this ^^

I believe the included battery door completes the conversion, leaving no open gaps. If you keep the og razr battery door, you'll have the gap at the sim/sd card door

Absolutely voids warranty, so keep the original parts if you need to exchange. And there is no water proof seal, so no biggie there.wouldnt this void warranty and break the water proof seal?

No ideas? I've to ask somewhere else. Sorry for the OT.OT: Sorry for the OffTopic now, but I have a question about the shop.
As many of you here I bought my Razr pretty early before the White/Maxx Razr came out. Anyways here in Germany the White one is actually available. And I would like to "build" my Black Razr XT910 to a White one. I ask you guys, is it possible? I would even change it, if its only possible for the back. If anyone of you would help me, which parts I need etc... I would really really appreciate it .
Thank you
Regards OprTR
Sorry for my bad english

same thing I was thinking, Im not sure if it comes with all the necessary tape because they have it listed by the pry tools & screwdrivers. If it is extra they should take it off & you find it on their website yourself

There is a coating on the circuitry that is extremely resistant to water though, so be careful not to scratch at anything that you don't need to. They call it the 'Nano coating' or something to that respect.

Another reason why i am quite miffed that Motorola didn't just make this the original phone. I was one of the first to get it and paid the full $300, and now I am looking at another C note and the potential loss of my warranty if anything goes wrong . . .
