I have been trying to fix the sound with stock animation sound, can you elaborate on what you meant with that please.

In my first post of this thread the audio download is in a zip file. The droidsm.ogg file needs to be extracted before being placed in /system/media with appropriate Permissions.

I did exactly that, but still no sound. I read every single post on here and tried all possible solutions. Just can't seem to get it working.

Maybe try Fix Permissions in recovery. (????) Are you on stock ROM? Audio doesn't work for me on Carbon or Codex.
