Just trying to understand how the memory is set up on this phone? like when you move an app off the phone in to the "media area" where is it actually going. i assumed to my SD card but i recently formatted it and all the apps still work. Also for my internal i have my total of 8GB with 4.37 available is this where i moved my apps? because if i go to manage internal storage i have nothing to move no pictures, movies, or songs I see here is application storage then internal and then SD card.

When you mount through USB, your computer will detect 2 different drives. The one with the LEAST amount of folders is your SD card. Vice versa for your internal memory. You will know when I mean by "least," your internal will have more than 2-3x as many folders. Hopefully that helps.
