One other thing that's going around - who was the character at the end of episode 5, heading towards the body of the assassin after the bounty hunter killed her - some say it was Gideon but others are saying they heard spurs jingling leading them to think it might be Boba Fett ...

Yes, I read that rumor directly after e5 aired but I'm not yet convinced.  The Mandalorian was originally supposed to BE a Boba Fett show but Disney nixed the idea.  So I don't necessarily think it was Boba, and if it was, it's just an homage to him.  I doubt very much that he'll be showing up.

Clearly the don't have a clue that Rebels even existed.  WTF did I just read?  I need eye bleach.  LMAO  That was all kinds of messed up.  However, just for fun or something...

 

Let's say Maul somehow did return or whatever.  First off, given what he did to the nightsisters in Rebels, there's a _0_ chance they'd ever help him again.  Not to mention that he directly got Savage killed by Palpatine by being a moron.  Bringing Maul back again at this point would be stupid.  I'm already cringing at the rumors of a Maul show and can only assume it happens after Solo but before Rebels if that's even a true rumor.  Maul is dead....let's leave him there at this point.

 

That being said, there IS one thing I would like to see addressed in the final season of Clone Wars...how Maul escapes from Palpatine.  That was never addressed and something must have happened because the Darksaber was on Mandalore when Palpatine fried his ass and then wasn't seen again until Dathomir in Rebels.  Obviously Maul brought it there after his escape from Palpatine but how that happened would be a good story to see an episode dedicated to.

 

I don't know where we're going to see the events Gideon described (I watched it again today) about the Mandalorian night of 1000 tears where he annihilates Mandalore.  I'm guessing that's going to be a flashback early in season 2.  We need to see how he acquires the Darksaber.  I guarantee he didn't just show up with a blaster and kill Bo-Katan.  She was far more badass than that.  She was Satine's sister and as such her death would affect Obi-Wan.  Given his isolation on Tattooine unless he had a vision through the force, he probably doesn't know about it.  In any case, taking on Bo-Katan would NOT have been an easy task.  I have a feeling he brought an inquisitor with him.  What a tool.

I saw that but I'm not sure I buy it fully.  One could argue the night sisters chased Maul off on Dathomir and Sabine reclaimed it from them.  It does not say you have to kill your opponent necessarily.

I am more interested in the rumor that Disney will use the veil of the force to effectively kill episodes 7-9.

So those episodes will be in the it own timeline and now Disney can reboot.

Look at the scene with dark Rey. That can be used as a set up for the veil of the force.

The more I watch 9 the more I don't like it for one reason. Actually two.

Anakin and Luke are supposed to be the Saga. Not a Mary Sue with no blood relation. Rise if Skywalker literally did nothing for their characters. Especially Luke.
