If you normally use tapatalk to view this site on your phone or tablet you can still view it just fine through your mobile web browser. Check it out people it works. I hate to see anyone missing out on the fun just because tapatalk is down for a bit.

Godspeed. This forum was the sole reason I bought Tapatalk.
I second that.

I would like to reiterate what is posted on our front forum page...

Yeah it works but not as nice.
Something tells me that tapatalk wasn't implemented correctly here on the site. When ever I do a clean install of a device, I log into my tapatalk account then when I select a forum it shows my username and asks for the password. However, when I select this site it never knew my username. It never was a major hassle to type in the username, I just found it odd that this was the only site that didn't remember it. Just passing along that tidbit of information in case it may help those who are working on it.

how abut we get an app for this site like other sites if we cant get tapatalk to work nicely with site
I agree with Droid Elite. The mobile version is nice and works well. But tapatalk was smother and faster too. At least we can still acces te site.
Keep up the good work.

You mean ? 99% of the forums who have "their own app" are in actuality just using a re-skinned version of Tapatalk with all of their propriety logos and things replaced with the sites own custom ones. An example of this would be XDA Premium, which is just Tapatalk that XDA paid to have rebranded. Sadly, this will have us all in the same boat, just with Droidrzr logos all over it and our own spot to download the app on the Playstore. The SQL errors and crashes will continue. They are working on getting the back end of the site updated and upgraded to the latest versions of the necessary software so that it will play nice with Tapatalk in the future.

Are other forums having the same trouble with Tapatalk and just living with it?
It's a combination of which version of Invision Power Board we are using that does not jive with the version of Tapatalk that we updated to recently. Rather than downgrade tapatalk, they are preparing to upgrade the server and forum software to make everything compatible on the most current version.
Site=Gingerbread
Tapatalk=Jelly Bean 4.2.2
Why put tapatalk back on Gingerbread when we are able to update our site to Jellybean 4.2.2 status. Hope that puts it into perspective for everyone.

Thanks for the updates! The browser isn't as useful on my phone but it is better than nothing. Guess now that Tap a isn't working I might get more stuff done at work...or at least have more time to do important things like researching the correct way to breed platyraptors. Of course I have been searching for a way to get a pet platypus...nobody seems to be up to the task of circumventing a few dozen countries "red tape"
Screw red tape, just trap one and then domesticate it. Red tape no more.

Because other forums have updated software on their server. The tapatalk plugin itself is up to date. It's the server software that isn't. Like Tucstwo just said 2 posts above yours
