Does anyone know if the OP is still working on this ROM or is this thread done?

I think the dev went AWOL on us. Not cool when there are some issues that need fixed but it is what it is. Only reason I don't move to another ROM is my battery life.

The developer said he was busy finishing up exams a few weeks ago but if all your interested in is battery life I used to have this on my phone and I now have rage3.2  with the same apps and the battery life is significantly better. My  wife says the latest flying jelly has ber battery life

I don't find rage any good for my phone I have the same apps and all running on this as I had on rage and I find this to last longer each phone is different and acts different.

Many of these developers seem to be college kids so perhaps they flit in and out of the developing scene. However, if we don't show our financial support as a group to the developers when we stay with their roms they may not have an incentive to stay with us. I'e given $20 or $25 at a time when I stay with a rom for a few weeks because I feel it shows appreciation to the developer and makes  him want to stick with developing for all of us. If we are stingy, we as a group have no one to blame but ourselves for the loss of these helpful people

Amazing ROM! I just have a question, is there a built in Overclock and Underclock method in this ROM, or should I use SetCPU? Because I don't know if it's the app or the ROM itself, but SetCPU governors aren't working for it.

Thank you!

I never said it wasn't good to not donate to a Dev, I just hate to see a great ROM sit without being fixed or an update here and there, if he can't work on it now I understand but at least let us know your still going to work on this great ROM , I mean let's go back to fusion ROM if you ever used that ROM how many people were involved in that ROM there was always an update or a new theme but once the new os came out we were told it would be updated it never got updated and now the thread is closed and that's that, that was a sweet ROM. So how do you think that set in with people who donated with in those two weeks I would if been pissed. I'm not trying to say don't donate but if I do I don't want the thread shut down the next day, and have to jump to another ROM.

Read the entire thread for the most part. I was initially very interested in this ROM.  Sounds like the play store issue is just something that may not be resolved.  That's my take anyway.  Any thoughts to the contrary

mdcowboy and others, there are several other great roms that are being supported on the forum that have good battery life and can be underclocked and work smoothly for better battery life. I mentioned rage, which I run at  1100 600 and it works very smooth and quick. People on the flying jelly forum say the 3.0 version is exceptionally long on battery life. Then there is aviator. I'm happy with rage so I haven't tried the others and I couldn't care less if it's ever updated because everything works and it's very smooth. The only problem with breakneck that people were complaining about was the playstore issue. If your not happy try and experiment with another rom. It"s only a PHONE. By the way fuzion is still a great rom . The .8 roms are good because they all support flash video play in the native browser for those who like to watch flash. For those who want that fuzion, jellywiz and jellyhaters motoblur are the best with jellyhaters IMO being the best of the .8 roms. None of these have the phone call black screen of death. Breakneck and stock .16 are the only .16 iterations that support native flash. The rest of the .16 roms have some adblocking built in which stops flash videos, so only html 5 will play in the browser.

I haven't been on rage in awhile but I will say I had very bad battery life on it I ran the same apps there on that ROM as on breakneck and to me rage just didn't do it for me don't know if it has gotten better with the tweaks and stuff but i do know one thing I'm not one to over clock my phone and mess it up. Yeah it's only a phone but I don't have 300 to 600 to put down for another phone if I Fry it. I'm just running stock now I froze a lot of crap. Maybe I'll try rage again and see. But as for the over clocking I don't want to push it.

The overclock scripts are an option you can flash if you want them to overclock. From the name of the rom I can see where people would think it was overclocked but it isn't. As I said I'm underclocked for battery life. I flashed the scripts and set the rom at 1350 300 and the thing flew but it was slightly less good on battery. BTW for everyone the scripts are available in the OP and work with most blur .16 roms. And you CAN't fry your phone. The newest rages 2.9 to 3.2 are much better on battery life. Now having said all that people report flying jelly 3.0 has exceptional battery life. But, as mdcowby said every phone is different. mydroidrazrmaxx I am not pushing rage at all just giving general info. I too want great battery life but the rom performance needs to be what each individual needs.

As an aside If anyone flashes one of these roms and wants to get rid of the built in toggles go to the bw hd rom, download one of the 1% circle battery zips found there unless you have a .16 1% battery zip of your  own and flash it anytime after installing the rom and it will remove the built in toggles.

For anyone having play store issues, I believe they are being caused by a script called 98YouTube. So with a root browser, go into folder etc/init.d and either delete or move that script to your external sd card. Then reboot into safestrap and wipe cache and dalvik, reboot. I deleted it and have not had any more issues. The script is suppose to block your IP address in YouTube and I think it is doing more in the background, causing the play store issues.<br /><br />

When did you do this. How long has it been since you moved that script, to test.

It's been 6 days since I deleted the script and no more issues. I have had Breakneck installed in slot 2 for about a month and within 2 days I was having issues with the play store. So I switched back to Aviator Blur. Then about a week ago, I had an epiphany. So I unzipped this ROM, Rage and Aviator. I went through all of the scripts in the init.d folder and noticed that Breakneck is the only one that had anything to do with your IP address. So I rebooted into Breakneck, deleted it and it's been all good since.<br /><br />

From your description most people need more detail as to where folder etc is located.
