And have you tried a stock factory reset after fastboot?

by this you mean going into recovery and doing a factory reset, right? if so, then no, I haven't. I'm trying to do as little as possible before the battery dies. But, if you think that might work, then I'll try it.

Reset should take long. Before you do plug phone in wall charger and see if battery charge icon appears. If it does it should charge, if not leave it plugged in. Here's a thread that might help on making home made cable, just in case.by this you mean going into recovery and doing a factory reset, right? if so, then no, I haven't. Thanks. No battery icon when I plug in.
The link has instructions for a factory cable - is that different from the one that shipped with my phone?

Got it.
Should I try a factory reset, or install from external the Blur_Version.6.14.181.XT912.Verizon.en.US.zip file?

For now just leave it plugged in charger overnight and try reset tomorrow. If not then try the zip and hope that works for you. Keep us updated. We will do everything we can to get you going again.Got it.

OK, you might have to do the homemade cable and try fast boot again. For now power off and put it back in wall charger and try again tomorrow. When i go into recovery, I get battery OK, but a bunch of invalid messages at the bottom, and no recovery options. Help?

With the homemade cable, do I need to let it charge for a while, or once its connected can I immediately fast boot?

I never had to do it cause I have a tbh cable (good investment). I wouldnt take the phone apart unless that is your very last option. The video doesnt say whether I need to loosen up the positive and negative screws before attaching the cables. Do i?
Edit. You have cdma razr, right? Not sure why none of the fastboot files work for rsdlite or matts utility 1.6

Invalid CG OTV (CG: system): invalid SP data
Invalid cg version (CG: system)
Invalid CG OTV (CG: system)
I read the that these errors could be cause you are trying to flash a fastboot file that isn't compatible with your phone.

Did you have any of these errors?
Invalid CG OTV (CG: system): invalid SP data
Invalid cg version (CG: system)
Invalid CG OTV (CG: system)

The errors are:
Invalid CG OTV (CG: webtop): invalid SP data
Invalid cg HAB (CG: webtop status: 0x0056)
Invalid CG OTV (CG: webtop)
I charged the phone all night, and getting the same errors when I try recovery or normal boot.
