So does Bluetooth not work at all or just can't have it on and use internal earpiece??

bluetooth works, just turn it off when not using bluetooth device. if you leave it on then you will not hear anything on your phone.

Well for one thing, if you dont flash gapps you won't have a Market
Maxx
I know flashing GAPPS is needed to get market and the setup wizard installed on a fresh ROM install. Somewhere, someone said something to make me think they flashed just Gapps on an existing install (just flashing GAPPS).
So does gapps have anything in it that doesn't update from the market or is flashing it over an existing install redundant?

That was it. Bluetooth is a must for me though cause I'm in the car 3 hours a day. Back to stock it is.
Do you have a car dock? Gummy (and maybe all ICS based roms) is good about turning BT on/off when you put it in the dock.
The thing to note is that if BT is on when you put it in the dock, it won't turn it off when you pull it out. BT has to be off, put it in the dock it turns on automatically, take it out it turns off again.
Other than that, BT works great for phone and audio streaming (although I'm still on 0.95 because I can't seem to get 1.0.x to maintain data).

flashing gapps over gapps will just overwrite the ones that are already there. If there is something updated in the latest package, then you will get the benefits (or bugs) of that..

Can someone let me know if they have an Exchange email account working on this? I keep getting error connecting to server when I try to set up the mail box, I am not sure if it is the ROM or technical difficulties at my work.
I had the same problem and bought Enhanced Email, but then I found this, which seems to address the issues I was having. It might help you, too.

Just fast booted back to .173 to take ota. Hope the updated radio takes care of data drops we will see. Just got done reflashing gummy 4-24 build and gapps
I was hoping the same thing. Doing that gave me an LTE connection...but I still get pretty consistent data drops...hell, even the regular connection drops A LOT. Like, I love this ROM...but not having a consistent connection makes it damn near unusable, and not having consistent 4G is enough of a negative in itself for me to not use it, sadly. I'm not paying this much for a phone/data plan to not be able to use it.
This ROM really is great work, it's beautiful (although the boot screen scared the $#!+ out of me the first time I booted), but until the data issues are resolved I guess I'm sticking to Gingercrumbs.
EDIT: That being said, does anyone know of any workarounds/fixes for the data issues?

Try the 0.9.5 test build, I can't get 1.0.0 or 1.0.1 to maintain a data connection but .95 is solid.

Upgrade to 1.0.1??Ok heres a new one for me. I'm on .95 and, when I try to send a picture mms, it stays at "pending" in stock and handcent. Anyone got a fix for that? Thanks.

I'm on 1.0.0 I believe. It still won't vibrate no matter what settings I have it at unless it's on vibrate-only (my whole phone). I want it to vibrate when I get a text when it's on ringer.Did you set up vibration in message settings? Also try picking notification sound in message setting also. Never had a problem. From gummy.9 to 4-22 nightly I'm on now.

I was hoping that taking the OTA would help. After looking at the before and after I noticed that the LTE radio stayed the same. The update only changed the CDMA radio. So data drops continue. I believe that this is a phone problem or a network problem and is unrelated to this great rom.

Download the 1.01 build. And flash it maybe that will fix your problem. I never had an issue not sure what else to have you try. Up to you if you want to wipe. I didn't wipe and everything is working. I'm running the 4-26 nightly now. With the 4-22 gapps. No wipes between flashes. Last time I wiped was when coming from android 4.03 to 4.04. Good luck
Found a bug on 4-26 nightly. Browser does not work. Went back to 4-25
Edit 2 just went threw phone again under gummy setting general UI check and see if notification are linked to phone maybe that the problem

Hello all. I've been running off of gingerbread roms for the most part (currently on Razrx 1.2) and I've been trying to get into ics with Gummy. However, every time I do all the necessary things to flash the rom, install it, flash the GApps, and reboot, i get through the Motorolla logo, through the safestrap splash screen and then the screen remains blank, never getting to Gummy. I've looked through the forum a bit but have yet to find a solution. Hope someone can help. Thanks! (im on 6.12.173 if that makes any difference)
In addition, this same thing happens every time i install any ics rom but never a gingerbread one.
What are you using to flash? If you are using safe strap make sure it is version 1.09...I had that EXACT issue because I was using safestrap version 1.07 not 1.09 feel free to pm me if you need more assistance
