Did you move the ROM file from internal storage to your memory card?

1. Chrome doesnt work properly.
2. When Bluetooth is ON but NOT connected, unable to speak on phone. It seems its still streaming voice thru bluetooth even though its not connected. Never had this problem on stock razr. Same thing when trying to do voice search when bluetooth is ON, doesnt work.
3. Randomly once a day, lose my data connection ,neither 4G/3G shows up. have to play with the data connections settings , ON and OFF etc to get it working again.
4. clicking on date in notification doesnt take to calendar, even after THAT setting is ON.
5. Youtube was working initially, not anymore.
6. Noticed camera (not camcorder) was stuck and force closed and then didnt work. Had to restart, then started working again.
7. Skype video call doesnt work, only audio works.
8. Can we have touch to focus for camera? tried all those focus settings, non of them are touch to focus.
Overall i appreciate the team that is working on Gummy, I hope the above points helps you to fine tune it

Both need HW acceleration, which the .173 roms still don't have.

Can you extract the drivers & such from the ICS leak and use them to get the camcorder / HW Acceleration working?
This is possible, but then the rom won't work on GSM-Razr because the ICS-Leak uses another kernel which isn't compatible with GSM version. The best solution would be to built a custom kernel which can be booted using kexec.

I'm in the same boat as you, came from a DX, and somewhere along the way all the rules changed when I wasn't paying attention (bootstrap, safeboot, fastboot, rubberboot, dasboot).
and .
I used
As best I can tell, safestrap is basically clockworkmod except that it has a function where it packages up and swaps out between two installs (stock and then one to play with). I think this was the way of choice originally because there was no fastboot file (think SBF) available so it gave people a relatively safe way to play and still get back to stock, now that the .173 fastboot file is available it's not as necessary.
The steps I took were as follows:
1) Run Razr util and root the phone
2) copy safestrap 1.09, gummy, gapps to the mass storage.
3) install safestrap, run it and install the recovery
4) reboot
5) start safestrap (menu button at the screen)
6) go to backup and restore, create a backup (nandroid)
7) from the safestrap main menu choose safe boot mode
8) pick Toggle Safe System and let it do its thing
9) from the main menu install .zip from sdcard
10) install gummy
11) install gapps
12) wipe cache/factory reset
13) Advanced - > wipe davlik (for grins and giggles)
14) reboot and enjoy
It took me about 1.5 hours to Forest Gump my way through this. The info on the droid razr is all over the place. I did the same thing the following day with a friends razr maxx and it was maybe 30-35 minutes end to end including the backups.
I did it this way and now I am stuck on a completely black screen...is this normal or should I sit and wait some more? how long does it usually take to even get to the gummy logo bootloader??

Are you still at black screen ? Can you get to recovery?Try wiping cache and reboot if that doesn't work you may have to use utility and go back to .173 and start over. I used bootstrap and have never had a problemCan anyone help? I have been trying to get this installed for 3 hours now to no avail
