Thanks for answering my questions, (TSON). Now I've got another one, as I continue my phone shopping quest. The "Droid Fighter" (Or Razr Maxx HD or whatever the name will be when it officially drops) is supposed to be virtually identical to the Razr Maxx, only with a higher resolution screen, ICS out of the box, and potentially a faster processor. Now, I know a different processor might mean a different chipset, and therefore have an issue with how easily the ROM can be ported over.

The question buried in all that is will Gummy be able to be ported to the "Fighter" as easily as it was from the Razr to the Maxx? Or is that something that just really is not known at this point?

You sound like myself when I was shopping around for a new phone so let me offer you my point of view. Find out what aspect of a smartphone is THE MOST important to you. Unlimited customization? Optimal practicality? Or physical dimensions/technical specs? Then get the phone that excels in the most important category and also does as good as possible in the other areas. Wait as long or as short of a time until you feel those criteria are met.

Or don't. Do whatever. That's why we have android phones not iphones.
RAZR Maxx - Two steps forward (Maxx>>>Droid1) and one step back (My bootloader! What have they done to you!?!)

I have seen the thread I'm looking for before on here somewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me now. I was wanting to know how to stop cwm from booting every time I restart the phone. I am currently on the latest test build, and I used razrbootstrap v2.0 to install the ROM. Did not reinstall bootstrap afterwards as gummy has cwm built in. Also,I think booting to cwm each time is causing my boot process to stall. Usually get stuck on the boot logo after restarting from cwm, but another reboot fixes the problem. Any help is appreciated, and thanks for all the goodies team gummy.

that's a feature. I think till now there is no other way of entering cwm. So every time you reboot you see cwm and if you reboot from there it boots fine.

I'm not sure about "extra" governors, but the governors are there. The soft key bar can be enabled or disabled and there are several options for the soft keys, but the "slim" part I'm not seeing in the settings (unless I missed it).

Yeah the slim was a hack someone came up with on the dx. One more question are the night lies stable the ones for dx where bootlooping?

The latest test build 0.9.5 is working perfectly stable with ZERO reboots as long as you use the stock ICS lockscreen. Using a different lockscreen that comes with Gummy causes reboots.

Good to know. Thanks. Just thought of another item. On dx multi touch is set at eight. Is there a flash able mod to change it to two. Sorry for all the newbie questions so use to the dx

I had (still have) the DX before the MAXX. But that particular question I'm not sure of. Maybe someone else can chime in with an answer to that one.

I've been running this since tuesday and it's a great peice of work but I have noticed a couple of things that I am not sure if they have been brought up. every now and then I lose data and 3g after my phone is not used for about 30 mins I then have to reboot to bring it back. I tried to toggle modes but that didn't work every time. also today 4/7 I noticed about midday the bottom buttons disapeared the ones for web, phone and contactsand launcher just disapeared. i then restarted the phone and it it sat on the M indefinately I had to do a restart and my bootstrap came up I was then able to restart gummy. I think this is an awsome rom and appreciate all the work everyone on this forum does i've learned a lot and continue to learn all the time. anyhow I just thought I'd share this info with the developers .

thanks

Maybe you should Fastboot back to .173 and use Safeboot instead of Bootstrap. I'm having zero stability or data issues like most people with this ROM. I don't know if you're using 0.9.0 or 0.9.5, but I'm on 0.9.5 and it's running flawlessly using Safestrap.

as soon as I sent my post I read about the 9.5 . As soon as I get some charge on my battery I'm gonna flash it and see if that does the trick.
