Overall I'm good with this as a daily driver until someone makes a nice gummy build based upon the official ICS forthcoming.

Agreed, 0.95 is very nice indeed; especially loaded with the latest Swype keyboard :D

I haven't tried the very latest Swype, I've been stuck on FlexT9 (just annoys me A LOT less than Swype did).

But we are definitely in agreement that Gummy 0.95 is slick.

*snip*

edit: Ok curiosity got to me. I went out, started the car, put the phone in the cradle, BT turned on, connected and worked, removed from the cradle and BT turned off. I then manually enabled BT and put it in the cradle and when I engaged the cradle, car mode started and the volume went up (I think it must remember the BT volume in the cradle and out), I then removed it from the cradle, BT stayed on (it must remember that BT was already on, very slick). I then turned off the car and the music paused and about 30-60 seconds later BT disconnected but remained on.

TLDR edit; 0.95 seems to have BT functionality working right/well/the way we wish it would.

edit 2: camcorder is still non-functional and skype video calling as well.

I forgot to mention that I'm using Car Dock Home V3, I don't know if it happens to be doing the BT toggle or if it's in the build, but it works and I'm happy.

You say that your home key didn't work; did you perhaps fail to load gapps immediately after loading the ROM?

Would like the ics roms even more if there was a way to restore data and apps... Aside from all that it runs smooth without issues...

Welp, been rocking 0.9.5 since it was posted and it is super fast and smooth. But, there are some issues.

When the phone is in landscape and you hit the power button to turn the screen off, it reboots the phone. Happens every time and is repeatable (on my phone at least). Also, I've had several random reboots, one of which happened this morning during my alarm cycle when I hit the snooze. I never got the second snooze because the phone rebooted after I hit the first snooze. Thankfully I have multiple alarms on and off the phone.

I did have one data issue on Saturday. Went to make a call and the call wouldn't connect. I tried a contact and manually dialing the number. No luck. I tried the browser, no luck. I had full bars and 4G, but no data was working. Rebooted the phone, haven't had an issue since.

Once the official ICS comes out later this week, Gummy will be elevated to a whole new level. Can't wait for that. :)

You can do that on any ROM, App manager in the ROM Toolbox or Titanium Backup will let you restore apps and/or their data/settings. You can backup and restore system apps, and restore just the data but you never really know if the code itself changed the way it deals with the settings.

Did you do a full wipe between installs? I haven't had any random reboots and I can press the power button in landscape no problem. The only problem i have is with Apex launcher croaking on first boot up and I've had one random force close from Apex in 2 days (happened after pulling out of the car dock, so who knows if it was one of the two dock programs I have installed).

You may want to do a full wipe and/or a clean install (I installed 0.9.5 on a clean fastboot back to .173). I believe kejar31 even said a full wipe was needed since 0.9.5 jumped base versions from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4.

Thanks for checking for me. When I get a free minute, I'll fastboot back to .173 and reinstall and see if those issues go away. :)

had my first real problem with .95 today, rebooted because data wasn't working and then "process.android" or something like that failed and asked to report or ok it every time I hit ok the pop up would come back a second after. kept looping in the same process.. rebooted and still same glitch. booted into recovery and then wiped data, but then would not fully boot. so, i'm back to stock for the time being.. will probably flash back once I have some free time and I know I don't need my phone for anything.

I tried multiple times using titanium backup to restore the app+data and it always failed... also tried restoring just the app and it said completed but the app wasnt there... finally i tried just restoring the data after reinstalling each app and that also didnt work...

I have been using .95 for a day now. My wifi disconnects when the is screen off for about 5 mins. I have no apps to control my wifi. My wifi even drops if I'm using the connection like streaming music.

@the people saying the wifi toggle in the notifications doesn't work... it does work. After you press it close the notification bar wait 30 seconds or so and it will be toggled.

with latest 95 i get very good battery life under a lot of usage. WiFi always on, a lot of calls, manual data use, only google apps auto syncing and manual sync of hotmail fb and yahoo. Not much Im+ use and closing it after use. A bit of gaming (trial extreme these days) and i can get easyly more than 30 hours from 100% to 25% (then i always recharge). Coming from defy i was very dissapointed with battery life of razr (of course i knew it, but...). I was never on stock, from first hour with the phone i flashed ics roms. Some days ago i flashed for first time gummy 90. Was very pleazed with its features but after using 95 the battery life has been much better than any other rom. I dont know if others expirience same difference. I dont use battery savers, although i have cpu tuner installed which is very good if you set it up correctly but its turned off since last week. I donated a small amount as well. Thanks once again for this nice rom. Looking forward for next release and hope it contains ics kernel ;) sry for my english.

Q: Under settings > about phone i get android version 4.0.3, is it because i flashed gsm patch? im only asking cause i think i read it somewhere in this forum.

That's happened to me randomly a couple times over the course of the three different releases of Gummy. Normally I have to do a reboot to fix it, but sometimes switching to landscape and then back to portrait will fix it.

For those of you not understanding what mat is talking about basically the google search bar and any other icons you have get pushed more towards the center of the screen in portrait mode and leave a lot of screen space that you can't put any icons on at the top and bottom of the screen. I'm on stock 173 right now waiting on soak but if and when I undoubtedly go back to gummy I'll try to get a screen shot if it happens again.

I will try to get a screenshot as well if it happens again. It is random and randomly corrects itself. Can't verify if the landscape trick accidentally fixed it last time. I'll give it a shot though!

Alright, Fastbooted back to .173, reinstalled Safestrap and Gummy, did all my settings, reinstalled apps, etc. Then hit the power key in landscape, reboot every time again. Was very disappointed that it was still happening after all of that work.

So, wiped data/cache/dalvik, then rebooted. This time I didn't install any apps. And a fresh copy of Gummy does not have the power button in landscape bug. I started from scratch doing my settings in Apex and Gummy settings. After I did just those settings, I noticed the bug was back. The only thing I could think of that would cause that bug was the type of lockscreen.

Sure enough, the "Slider Lockscreen" was causing my reboots when hitting the power button in landscape. Once I put my lockscreen back to ICS, the bug is gone.

Hope this helps Kejar or anyone else having the same problem.

My phone will not charge via USB (connected to computer), nor will ADB or USB SD-Card mounting work. With AXI0M roms I just had to normally re-plug it in and it'd work but it's still showing Discharging in the battery menu and such...
