Anyone know why I cannot get data or service? I just have the little R above the signal bars. I have tried rebooting, redownloading and flashing, I have tried toggling back and forth from gsm to CDMA/LTE. When i just toggle to CDMA it tries to connect and does sometimes but as soon as it does it goes right back to the little R. I have tried *#*#4636#*#* as well and still cannot get data or service. Please someone help

What worked for me was upping the CPU min clock to 600 MHz and change the governor to hotplug. Check "set on boot" and reboot. Good luck.

Thanks I just tried it but it didn't work. It just will not stay connected. Like I said 3G will pop up for a min then it will drop and go back to the little R. Its weird though because Tranquil Ice works but this and Axiom will not. Axiom used to work then all of a sudden it stopped. I did notice that when I toggle to CDMA/LTE it switches itself back to GSM

I have gone 2 days now without any data problems. Everything started working good after I removed Rom Manager which I was using to fix permissions.

Now I am reconnecting to data quick and having no dropped data.

My only problem now is to get My Verizon and Visual Voice Mail working.

I will be using this one daily as long as the developer continues to add featues to the Rom.

You won't be able to get the stock vvm to work, but my Verizon is an easy fix. I just dropped it in /system/app set the permissions and rebooted.

So I drop the apk in the system/app folder and install it from there? What do I set the permissions to?

I am able to get My Verizon to work but I have to log in ever time. Is there anyway to make it work without having to log in everytime?

You don't install apps in /system/app. You just set their permissions to rw,r,r and reboot.
They should look like this...
XX
X
X

And as far as having to log in everytime... I haven't had to do it since the first time.

The stock My Verizon from the 173 OTA. Not the GNex version.

I still cant get it to log me in automaticly. I have to log in everytime.

Maybe I will do a complete wipe tomorrow. If I cant get it to work correctly.

Update: Did a complete wipe and still need to log in everytime. At least my data works great. might switch over to Axiom if they fix the data problems because they have support for Verizon apps built in.

So weird, my battery had to have been in the 90% or 80% range at worst her at work, and all of a sudden it turned off. Would not turn on. Plugged power source and it showed 0%. I let it charge for a few minutes til 5% and I got it booted and battery shows 5%. Sheesh!

Moved on to the LG G2 on VZW and lovin it!

Well, I am happy I am not the only person with data issues..

The ROM is very smooth, however, from the second I loaded this ROM and rebooted I was getting 4G, dropping 4G, switched to 3g drop 3g, I couldnt stay connected to data for longer than 3 minutes. I re-wiped, and installed again, same issue.

Love the ROM, but unfortunetly I can't use it because of the data issues.

For those of you who havent had these problems, I am jealous :P

Having read somewhere that there are actually four different revisions of the XT912, I'm starting to think this looks a lot like a radio to rom compatibility issue. Maybe the leaked rom won't work with the newer radio hardware and is actually something that is delaying the release for Moto. Having said that, they are telling us Q2 and we aren't even out of Q1 yet. I have faith that this phone and this rom are gonna rock.. and may get the full treatment like the DX, DX2 and others did.

I'd like to get my hands on the original leak and flash it and see what it does. I'd almost bet that the same people will work and the same people won't. Anyone have it to test that theory?

I just picked up the Razr yesteday. I'm coming from the Nexus so i find it hard to go back to GB after tasting the ICS goodness. I tried flashing this ROM but it hung at the black G ummy boot screen for what seems like forever. Ralisitically probobly 20 minutes. Am I doing something wrong. I am using the recovery on boot technique from here

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

, I ended up doing a soft reset and restored by nandroid backup. Here is the flash order:

1. Flash Gummy Rom
2. Flash Gapps
3. Flash boot to recovery zip file from the thead above.
4. Reboot.

Here is my phone info:
System Versions: 6.11.748.XT912.Verizon.en.us
Android version: 2.3.5
Build Version: 6.5.1-73_DHD-11_M1-2

Does anyone have a clue what i'm doing wrong?

I believe you have to be on 2.3.6 in order to flash this ROM. I could be wrong, but its worth a shot
