Help...I was having issues with my phone, I fastbooted back to .744 did the upgrades to .173 and rooted (so far so good) I installed Bootstrap Touch. Booted into recovery. Used the 1wipe2ruleThemAll.zip. Installed the rom (seem to go fine) did a reboot and got stuck on the M logo. I manually rebooted the phone and once again, it got stuck. I have fastbooted twice already. I am in the process of doing this for the 3rd time. Any thoughts on why this could be happening? (I am by no means new to this flashing business)...Thanks in advance for HELP

Try manually wiping data, cache, dalvik and then mounting and formatting system before flashing.

Also, remember to wipe cache and dalvik before and after flashing gapps. Otherwise it likes to hang up every now and then.

Did you check md5? Redownload rom? If you didn't, make sure you get gapps and flash it. It wasn't in your steps of what you did... Sounds like you may have had a bad download.

When you flash the ROM it installs CWM on Boot. It's not touch, but it will boot into CWM first every time you power on or reboot your phone. As long as you don't install install bootstrap or safestrap.

Just a quick question, I have to intsall bootstrap in order to flash the ROM...are you saying as long as I don't install bootstrap after flashing the rom, it should b00t up to CWM?

Hi. I have 0.8.2.

Can I flash 0.8.3 without wiping anything? Also, do I need to reflash gapps?

Thank you!

no if you are coming from a previous release of gummy for the Razr there should be no reason to wipe data... unless I state otherwise in the OP

Yes. Don't install it after flashing the ROM since CWM on Boot gets installed with the ROM.

I've lost my 3G connection. I don't have 4G in my area either. Went and looked and I was set to GSM. Set it to LTE/CDMA and still no joy. Tried wiping delvik, factory wipe, nothing is bringing it back. Radio works tho because if I drop out of safestrap safe mode the original rom works fine still. Next gonna try dropping back to 0.8.2 and see if that works. Anyone else with this issue?

I have mine set to hotplug. Not mot_hotplug, just hotplug. It zips and I don't have any data issues at except home, but that's because it's really hit or miss out here sometimes.

Smart Actions won't work on any of the ICS builds we have. There are a few options on the market, like Tasker and Locale (Tasker will use Locale plugins too), but both of those are paid.
You could check out Llama it's free.

Which one of those is better, between Tasker and Locale? Tasker is 2x the price so i would assume it must be better. But if you or anyone has used both and has any opinion it would be great!

Llama is supposed to be there too but I can't see it on tapatalk haha!

I have bought both. Locale is much easier to learn and ''looks prettier'', but tasker can run plugins for itself as well as locale plugins.
If you take the time to mess with it, in my opinion, tasker is much better.

There are some good guides and profiles people have posted for both. Kind of like we have here for Smart Actions.

Yes, I just flashed this rom. There is no 4g in my area either. I have no data connection.

8.3 running great :-) I also do not have 4g at my home, but, 3g has been the best so far of previous builds (stronger signal & better d/l speeds, Thanx team Gummy!). With the big ics keyboard I'm really loving some Gummy
