I am on the OTA Leak, and got the download from OTA, tried installing it from my phone and it failed. I just want to see if anyone had the same thing and tried this.
Thanks guys!
This will fix you.

I wonder if someone can help me. I originally used Matt's 1.82 to restore my Razr and everything seemed to go fine but after the Moto Logo all I have is a black screen. I tried some of his other utilities with no luck. I found a thread for someone with the same issue I was having and this utility seems to solve their problem. However when I try to run it I get a bunch of "Moto fastboot not recognized as an external command" then "your device will reboot and install radio". Please help.
I answered your question in the other thread you posted in.

Just updated, but the root didn't work. I used option 2.

First when you say it didnt work, thats not a lot for us to help you....second try a reboot and see if you have it, or try the exploit again. Having said that I havent done a dirty flash using Option 2, but Option 1 wasnt any problem.

I have not, but I will try that. Also Matt had a utility when the Xmas leak came out to Restore Root. Will that work maybe?

If you did not clear data on smart actions that should be your issue

Still no luck. I don't think that it has any affect, but I still have SuperSU installed from my previous root.
Hmmm... well as long as you have covered all the bases. Clear SA data, USB debugging, MTP Usb mode then I am thinking you will need to use the Utility to fastboot back to stock. Then root should work.

64 bit Linux System
./adb.linux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
./adb.linux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
If there are any Linux gurus out there, I could use some help. Thanks in advance.
EDIT:
After installing the 32 bit libs, it worked without issues. I am on 64 bit. Hopefully that helps someone else running 64 bit Linux.

I was able to successfully upgrade from the leak, using this utility, however, I cannot root. On Ubuntu 12.10, this is the message I get:
64 bit Linux System
./adb.linux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
./adb.linux: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Thank you for posting the fix, I was going to light up my Ubuntu VM to test, but you saved me the time. Ive seen other things require a downgraded version of libraries.

Anyone know how to backup the razr without root?
What do you mean? Apps?? All those programs usually require root to save app data
