Hi,

Sorry if I keep posting looking for solution.

I need to clarify that finnaly I can figure out what model my razr is.

In RSD lite, on 2nd column with title model, I found it stated "Fastboot CDMA_SPYDER S"

Can I confirm that I have XT912 model?

So with this model, matt's utility should work fine right?

Why I got error on flashing boot with error "InfoPreflash validation failure" and another error on flashing preinstall "InfoImage bigger than partition"

My firmware for my phone right now is XT910 retail UK, since this is the only firmware that i can flash with rsd lite.

I tried XT912 firmware but failed during system.img flash.

I'm not sure what you're asking?

You don't know what kind of phone you have?

If I read that post you say you are currently running XT-910 UK software but you said elsewhere that the phone says verizon XT-912 on the back. The utility you are using is for the XT-912  and is not working because it thinks you have a 910.

In over a year on this site and 9 months as a Mod I have never seen anyone with a 912 running 910 software or vice versa. I would say you are better off looking for a fix with some 910 software.

With all that being said I am still not even sure what your problem actually is?? I know you have an issue with the Utility but what was your problem that made you go looking for the Utility.

Thanks for your confirmation.

So although in RSD lite it shows that phone model is CDMA_SPYDER, and I have verizon label in front and back of my phone you are sure my phone is 910?

Plus only XT910 files that I can use on flashing with RSD make you double confirm about it?

Well the issue is my phone can't boot normally , I only able go to BP HW Diag after flashing.

So my phone can't have any data access in this booting, since my baseband also not updated during flashing.

And my phone can't have usb debugging.

I thought bp.img or boot.img file is the solution for this (just guessing)

But I don't know how can I combine bp.img with current firmware.

Sometimes firmware with bp.img image has ota folder inside, but it's not stated on xml file to do update.

So we are not sure, as it seems you are not sure :)

Verizon in the US is CDMA. However the Verizon XT912 is "global capable" meaning you can remove the SIM card for cdma and swap it with one from a foreign country to make it GSM capable. If I had to guess in Indonesia you are GSM.

Now having said that, if it is truly a Verizon xt912, then I would think that our tools should work as well as RSD....unfortunately its hard for us to tell, but based on it showing as CDMA_SPYDER it seems like you are an xt912, as I would think if it was an xt910 it would show as SPYDER_UMTS or something like that.....

Not sure what to tell you....I am no expert on foreign cell carriers.

FWIW - I use my XT912 in Germany (i.e., "GSM-land") without changing SIM's. Providers are (mostly) Vodafone and (occasionally) O2 and (possibly - having a brain burp) others. OTOH, in the Bahamas, a Batelco SIM is a must (also build.prop must be modified - PM for details).

Thank you for replying my question.

Sorry if I keep asking.. honestly I still can't find the satisfied answer although I've been googling for weeks..

How can I precisely identifying my phone is XT910 not XT912 ?

If I may refer to gsmarena.com on XT912's detail spec, stated it support for both GSM and CDMA.

I've been posted question thread in XDA but still can't find the solution of my phone's error.

So I hope I can find a way how to identify my phone? Then I can choose which way to unbrick my phone.

I tried many fastboot files with umts_spyder but nothing work, I haven't tried with xt912 files.

System Settings > About Phone

Please give me all the info listed in this section. Specifically the following items:

Model number:

System version:

Baseband version:

Kernel version:

Also, you can look in the flip door where your SIM card and sdcard goes and look up your IMEI # that is on that little flip door. Looking up your IMEI # will tell you if that number is for a XT912 or XT910.

Hope that helps.
