You are booted into the OS when you plug your phone in?? Usb debugging on?? In MTP USB mode?? Drivers installed?? Cleared data in Smart actions app??

OK...for the stupid ones.....I downloaded this tom my PC desktop...extracted files to its own folder....so NOW WHAT?
Do I put the folder on my Razr maxx internal or external storage? then what? All these instructions seem to be for people who are about in the higher end of knowing what all these terms are and what they are for....rooted? etc. HELP a technical guy but not with this particular technology....thanks in advance. Do I do these 2 steps after the files are on my phone????
- Install the required drivers. The folder with the drivers is called "Drivers [WINDOWS ONLY]" and is included in the Utility folder.
- Double click the ".bat" file. This will be called "WindowsUtility.bat" the image is just for reference.

I double clicked the bat file on the pc....in the windows only folder are two files...is this correct or should I do something with those 2 files?

ok i double clicked the 32 bit and it asks to repair or remove I chose repair but it came up wit an error....so.....did the .bat utility put those files in the windows only folder for when I do the upgrade??? (do option 1 once phone is connectd to computer??
