Something is going VERY wrong when you try to wipe data.  Flash without it and I bet it'll be successful.  Please try.

Roger that - flashing the Taimen, then will try with Shamu again.

But if it works, it's gonna be an issue badly.  Because anyone moving from, say, a ROM to stock, or from rooted to stock non rooted, will probably want to wipe....

There's more than one way to wipe.  ;)  Patience.  I just need to know what to focus on fixing.

New version is up.  Be careful with it.  I didn't test it and it wasn't meant to be released like this.  I don't know if the data wipe will work so you'll need to test it carefully.

The bootlooping was from when I used the previous ver of HoG to try to flash stock over Bliss, where the wipe data routine was fsacked.  It caused bootloops on both devices.

Using the latest HoG I flashed the second to last factory image over the bootlooping device to see if it would work.  It did.

If you wait too long to acknowledge the Android debug authorization request, HoG won't recognize the device in time.  Not a big deal though.

Ah, ok.  Yea I told you there is more than one way to skin this kill data cat.  If you confirm the OTA, then the only thing left is to turn this into a beta build.  But to do that requires a fair bit of work that I may not get to tonight.  I shall definitely get to it tomorrow though.  I'd release it earlier but I know how much the current work I've done on the release would piss you off.

Yes.  And there's literally nothing I can do about that.  It'll time out and the HoG will just assume you don't have anything plugged in.  That's user error not HoG.  :)

I was looking at fastboot -h and saw the different functions there.  I initially got curious when I saw some of the functions you were using.  I saw that erase function and was going to use it myself for my Shamu if I couldn't get the normal flash over Bliss ROM to work, because no matter what anyone says, TWRP is buggy AF.  I never remember having issues before with previous devices, but it has screwed things up more than once with both devices here.

Hell, I might still write up my own little batch file for use with wiping my devices anyway.

But, yeah, it lets you do a lot more than just fastboot boot and fastboot reboot.  lol.
