I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but here is what happens:

 

I thied the utility the first ti8me using AP Fastboot instruction - It said all was good, rebooted phone but I still don't have the .16 kernel

 

I then tried the ADB selection - Found device, Sending 'boot' writing 'boot' rebooting . . make sure to install a jellybean Official . . .   Whne the phone reboots I still have the .8 kernel.  What am I doing wrong?

 

You have to fastboot the .16 Kernel then go directly to safestrap and install a rom that runs on that Kernel and boot that up.

does anyone have the driver file for this? i downloaded the utility and cant find the drivers file in the one i downloaded from here someone plz help. im on 98.72.16 and want to go back to 98.72.8 so i can try the jellywiz rom

im still having truble. im on the ota .16 jb and am trying to go back to .8 ive downloaded the utility and now the drivers and it still wont work for me i dont understand what im doing wrong. if anyone could help it would be great thank you

So what's it not doing? .... is the computer not recognizing you phone...

Is the utility "stalling" ....

Is it running thru but not installing the proper kernel....?

What version of windoze are you using?

when i try to run the utility it says moot fastboot is not recognized as an internal or external command

Ok.... it sounds like you have not extracted the utility completely..... use WinZip or winrar to extract the utility.... then run the .bat file from the folder

i used winrar and extracted the zip to a folder on my desktop and when i open the utility and hit enter it comes up for a sec n closes

Try this method instead, it doesnt require a PC so in that sense its "better"

For some reason it didn't work this way for me. I ran the utility in AP Fastboot, then installed ROM, got stuck in bootloop every time. But when I installed the ROM first then ran utility it worked fine, Running batakang now. Maybe I'm just an idiot and forgot if I was on leak or ota.
