Disclaimer: some of these commands are very powerful and will make root level changes. Make sure you understand them before attempting to use them.
Also if you want to know more about command line use a great resource I have found is:
It is mostly Linux/Unix based commands, but you can find some powerful/undocumented Windows commands as well.
I hope that someone finds these useful, feel free to share (none of it is mine anyway!)

There are tons of resources there, including tutorials (Beginner, intermediate and advanced), articles (grouped by proficiency level and function) and forums.
It's really a one-stop shop for all things *nix.

It's primarily for Fedora, Cent OS, and Red Hat Enterprise. Some of the commands are cross platform since all Linux distros ate built from Unix architectures.
