New (JB OTA) Help for Beginners

I'm currently on on ICS .211 using dualboot (old version) to run JB ROMs. Do I just run dualboot (old version) again to get back to ICS .211, run Matt's 1.9 to get JB going then run the updated version of dualboot to be able to switch from .8 to .16.
I'm thinking this is what I have to do but I just want to make sure. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply, I don't have to worry about uninstalling Safestrap during this process do I? I figure Matt's utility would take care of it for me.
Now I have something to do this weekend.

Last question I hope, on Matt's utility program I would only have to run step 1 then step 3 right? Then I would run the dualboot program.
Kind of nervous.

You can use 1.9 if you have the full JB on your sd card to install right away as ICS won't boot. If you want to boot into ICS and take JB OTA you need the 1.82 Utility. Then use the Razr Blade method to root.

I screwed stuff up by uninstalling system apps and whatnot, so the OTAs and such just abort when I try to apply them.
Suggestions?

What is the easiest way to completely reflash the stock rom?

Are you on ICS?? Use Matt's 1.82 Utility.

Remember, when voodoo protects root, the device thinks it's unrooted.Another newb question:
So I reverted back to .211, rooted, then protected root and unrooted using voodoo. Will my phone still update if busybox and superuser is installed?

I'm probably an idiot, but I did option 1...it seemed like a reasonable idea at the time. Attempted to apply the Xmas Leak again (as option one would do). Failed when applying update. Now phone won't boot. Fastboot/Recovery still working obviously.
...What now? Is there any way to un-screw this up?

1. unfroze apps
2. via voodoo unrooted/rooted
3. left it rooted
4. took the ota JB, let it install
5 when phone booted up it says "unfortunately, the process: com.android.phone has stopped.
6 clicking okay restarts it, but it immediately fails and the voice says "loss of service, verizon wireless
7 rebooted, same thing
8 cleared cache various ways and rebooted several times, still the same error
Thanks for any help

Why does it abort? Giving as much detail as possible is they way to get the best assistance.
It gave me and audio processor error message. I think its because I had beats audio installed. Is there a way to fastboot to the xmas leak?

Also, can you do an OTA update, or does it have to be the Recovery way?

Well, not sure what youre doing wrong....if you were on JB, then you need 1.90. The process is use Option 1 in Fastboot to flash. Then reboot into Recovery and apply the ICS_to_Leak file that is Xmas eve leak. Then check that you still have root and its protected OR get root and protect. Then reboot back to Recovery and apply the Leak_to_JB file.
It is highly recommended that you do Cache wipes before applying the files.

What do you mean by disable safestrap? I know how to uninstall it, but how do you disable it.
Also, can you do an OTA update, or does it have to be the Recovery way?
Boot back to stock, open the Safestrap app, and remove recovery. if you are stock, then you should be able to get the OTA.....otherwise it will need to be sideloaded via Recovery
