I was kind on the fence about buying this device. Especially since it was gonna run me $599.99, AND I wasn't sure what my SSGS3 was gonna bring ($400). But now that all is said and done. My S3 is gone, I laid out the ridiculous amount of cash for this phone. All I can say is: HOLY HELL THIS BASTARD IS FAST!

If I could or needed to get a new phone right now, the DNA would be my choice.

Aren't you locked in to only 11 gigs of ram to use? between rom backups and music/pics, surely that has to hurt? I want to move up to this phone, but i also hear the battery is way too small for such a powerful device? how is that going?

Aren't you locked in to only 11 gigs of ram to use? between rom backups and music/pics, surely that has to hurt? I want to move up to this phone, but i also hear the battery is way too small for such a powerful device? how is that going?
I have no issue with battery. Between custom roms and Kernels. I have 7gig of music on mine and 50 apps. Still have plenty of room. You're only issue is you may get a phone that has the last update already installed for which there is currently no root or bootloader unlock method

Kind of. Specs as good. Different body shape. I actually like the DNA's sexiness better than the one.

I love Viper. Every customization you can think of an more. I am itching to try the new Sense 5 one but have yet to do it.

Yeah that's the main place. I have tried to build up the DNA section here but there are just not too many people with the Device unfortunately. Luckily all my OG Razr knowledge keeps me relevant around here. Lol...

Got my DNA turned on yesterday. Sweet phone. Didn't realize all the built in themes that come with sense 4.1. Can't wait for the unlock to happen so i can try Viper.

I'm getting a DNA in a couple of days.Hope I made the right chose. I'm with the person^^^^^^ above is there root for the DNA?
Edit: So there is root ..Just as long as you don't get one that is preloaded with the newest update

i give it about a month before there is a software exploit. The problem i see is that the HTC one may come to Verizon. If so, you'll see a flood of these on the market as people flock to the one which is only slighty better.

Love this phone, bought another one that was S-off and sold my old one. Love the viper and Sense 5 roms.
