As if Superuser by ChainsDD and SuperSU weren't enough, we have another root permissions management app on the block today. Superuser takes a fresh look at these apps and improves upon them. Koush has made this app open source and free, which allows it to be modified and built into ROMS a lot easier. It also includes some nice features that we haven't seen before in a root app like the ability to pin-protect root access to certain accounts on an Android 4.2 device. It allows for configurable permissions for each user account on a device, making it easy to revoke root rights from say, a child's account on a tablet. Superuser also brings the usual logging feature and per app configurations. It also has a proper tablet UX, so you don't just get an up-scaled version of the phone app. If you're looking for a full featured, free, open source root app or just something different than Superuser by ChainsDD or SuperSU, give Superuser a try.

Nice. I still have (but rarely use anymore) ROM Manager - Koush's stuff is great, and while not the only player on the block, and having supported him, Chains and JRummy, I'm glad to see Koush come back out of 'hiding' lol.
