Too risky for something I'm not going to use. Imo if safestrap just gets put back on with other roms what's the point of going to jb in the first place

What I think that post means:

Why update to JB OTA and risk losing root, only to flash another jb ROM.

ok I get it now... this is the way I'm currently leaning, although won't the jb ota give us some new goodies and fix the issues with speakerphone mic and whatnot?

With no root exploit right now it just is too much a risk to me. I don't want accidentally lose it potentially forever. But yes roms built off it should solve current issues.

I'm not sure about the future of our bionics though because without a way for everyone to root for sure, will devs be as willing to develop?

Looks for date, then device (in our case targa) for latest nightlies now on Goo.Im. Courtesy of Mr dhacker. Latest nightly is said to have speakerphone bug fixed, haven't tested it myself.

I'm sure it's on goo. I went and bought an app called aokpush for 1.30 or something like that earlier this week after dh posted on twitter about it. Sends all test builds. Had speakerphone working last night on it.
