i tried deleting the lines and it works through the flash but when it reboots im still in a flash failure mode.

Thank you sir!  Worked perfectly.  I removed the lines from the .xml manually using Notepad ++.

Post the contents of your SWDL.txt file in your RSD Lite installation folder.

Awesome! I finally was able to flash the 18-8 build over the 18-9 latest OTA update to un-flash this XT894 from 3G Page Plus back to 4G LTE! Thank you so much! You are a life saver! Now my client won't kill me lol. I extracted the XML file and deleted those 2 lines as you said then I replaced the file with the modded one and then ran the RSD Lite 5.9 "Extract Then Flash" option... Easy! I recommend WINRAR for Windows to do this mod. Make sure you deleted your failed extracted folders from earlier before flashing!!!

I am not clear about where to get these two files deleted from. Can someone tell me specifically where to get them and delete same.

Firstly the 173 FXZ mentioned is ancient. Second if you have this problem, follow the OP and edit the xml file that comes with the FXZ appropriately.

Ok, i have just dihe scovered that these two lines of OEM are in the firmware text file and i have edited and deleted the two lines, but i am still experiencing the same problem:FAILED FLASHING PROCESS, UNKNOWN FLASH BOOT COMMAND. What do i do next.
