This is just my "pre-release" of The Arctic Rom for the 173 Razr build. It is a completely de-odexed 6.11.748 Rom, with a few modifications to work perfect on 6.12.173 (Working Bluetooth!!!!!)

Original 6.11.748 Rom was by shady_lanem.

I am not posting up any fancy graphics or anything in this thread, and the only reason it is pre-release is why....
mopar57 is remaking The Arctic's theme into a very cool, icy new look that I think you'll all enjoy.

Right now... there should be 0 problems. And that is a HUGE should. If you find any post them on this thread, and hopefully I can get them fixed right before the full release with new theme.

As far as instructions, do we do the normal wipe cache/dal, factory reset and mount system/format system first...

Hmm. I can not seem to adjust the brightness whatsoever. Auto or changing it to other settings. It does not accept it. Anybody able to confirm theirs please?

How do I set up my email it keeps foreclosing on me. I'm trying to set up my corporate microsoft exchange email then it asks me to automatic setup isn't available and to do it manual. When trying to set it up manually it forecloses on me even for my Yahoo email it's doing this as well. Am I doing something wrong here?

Sounds like a bug. Putting it under found issues... my gmail is fine for me, I don't have exchange or yahoo to check on that for you.
Also added brightess, I think I know why this is happening and can fix it tonight.

the home screen is sluggish and freezes for a sec or too every now and then.
cannot auto setup email accounts.

personally the blue boot animation is what i have been wanting since i got the phone!!
great work though!!! Hope the minor bugs can be fixed!

I noticed after a reboot the home screen lag is no more! Downloaded the yahoo mail app from the market and solved my email issue......love the rom....would like to see a few more wallpapers though....like the stock razr wallpaper electrode but in blue, or the blue razr eye....(hint) lol
