Sorry if this question is already been answered but I looked through most of this thread and could not find it. But is there anyway to remove the stock notification toggles so that we are able to use power toggles?

sent from my Droid RAZR Maxxfrom another dimension...

I just checked in the Flying Jellyfish thread and they had a mod to remove notification toggles.  I'm not sure if it's exclusive to that rom or not but try this post

That may help out.  Just make sure you backup beforehand  :)

The toggle a are baked into the Rom's SystemUI.apk Somali code. I would think that if you try to flash that mod you will fail, since it would be a different SystemUI.

Yes "Somali" code is this ROM lol! I know its a typo haha.

Grimm is exactly correct though. Another ROMs systemUI will not work because it will have a different signature.

I been trying to download this ROM and it always stops at 314MB in FF, IE and Chrome.... FF managed to finish one file out of the 6 attempts but it's a 314MB file, so there's a corrupted file in there somewhere :(

Uhhh 314MB is the right file size lol. Its posted in the OP right above the download link. Run a MD5 check with the MD5 in the OP to make sure you have a good download.

I was able to flash rd3s glass theme on this rom cause I like the green interface and also inverted gmail. it wiped out the toggles and I was able to use power toggles with no problems .

I tried Upowers instructions, but ended up in a bootloop. Smanager said unexecutable due to permissions in executable with the modules.sh file , so I tried script and went bootloop. Is SetCpu a must? I quit on the overclock, wanted it for a bit. At least until bdh comes up with the mod. No hurry, this rom rocks! I'm running performance with cfq, hasn't lagged in a week

Try again but modify the frequency table to 1250mhz and try again. If the doesn't work let me know. If you have an older RAZR it may not take a higher frequency read a few of the last posts. :)

I see SetCpu is not optional, so I'll try again after I get paid. No biggie, thanks for the help

I'd just as soon see the toggles removed so Power Toggles can be put in by the user without having to flash parts of another rom.

Baked in toggles are not going to be removed easily. I'll see what I can do though.

I'm guessing rom toolbox pro is a better buy than SetCpu, any suggestions?

For whatever reason setcpu is the ONLY way to get the overstock frequencies to stick after phone has been asleep for more than a few min. So if that's the goal go with setcpu. I actually have both. ;)

No-frills CPU holds OC frequencies just fine. Even after reboots and screen offs. I have had mine set at 400, 650, 900, 1125, and 1370 for 3 weeks now, no errors, super stable. <br />Thanks BDH and Team Rage. <br />Go into settings and make sure that you have the "Refresh Current Frequency" box checked.<br /><br />

I'm biased towards Rom Toolbox Pro for all of the other features it has along with cpu control, plus it's been on sale every now and then.  For $5 (or less) you can't really go wrong.

I tried no-frills with no luck after 5-10min of screen off the max freq is 1200mhz so if it works for you great! I would advise people who attempt overclocking to try no frills first but setcpu works if it doesnt :)
