Im at the same problem it quit on me twice where I had no sound, only way for me to get it back is to do a full flash, I've done that twice now the third time it did it I went to another rom until this gets fixed to sort it out the work arounds people put in here just don't work on my phone maybe there's but not mine. Love the ROM great battery life but I need my sound.

What ROM did you go to...I'm in the same boat.

To clarify... Are you guys talking about BT sound or all sound?

All sound (except BT)...BT works but nothing else...I only have BT in my truck.

 

Phone calls work, but no ringer.

Breakneck there's an issue with the data updating apps you can only get it to update wifi but if you use r2 it'll work. I think there are some work around but I'm not going to get into that right now I don't have the time, I know it's not r7 but I'm not missing anything that's not working. I was using that rom before coming to rage.

The only thing that's not built into the rom there is Google Mail which you can get from the market and the browser which there's a link in the OP for the stock Browser.

Ty. I'm going to use Matt's utility and reinstall JB and then try Breakneck.

You dont need to go back to the utility just wipe the ROM slot where rage is create another one and install breakneck back on it.

I would rather just have this fixed than to be jumping around to other ROMs I just don't like putting bandaids on things and I think if there's an issue with a ROM it should be looked at and work on I'm not trying to step on anybody's toes here for people who have found work arounds only problem those workarounds are not working on my phone I'm not the only one having this issue and I think it should be looked at. As someone said before I think its too many sound apps DSP manager sound effects, Beats Audio we just need one. Whats up with having two cameras and two galleries also I have to go and titanium backup to freeze one of them. Like I said this is a great ROM it works for me but they're just a few problems that need to be worked out before trying to add something else in the ROM.

I'm having a problem with all sound I have nothing no rings no touch sounds nothing. It's like I don't even have a speaker on my phone. I havent check with vibration I would imagine it's working, only way for me to tell if I'm getting a call is to look at my phone.

Lol, I have to add vibration to my alarm clock in the mornings because of no sound. Same with phone calls.

I am certain this will be looked at when BDH gets back from his 2 week military exercise. With multiple people having this issue... there is something definitely going on.

Are you guys using Rage 3.1? If so, did you have this problem in previous versions?

I'm using 3.1. I think it was a problem with 3.0 also.

Anyone have a problem with chrome being slow and sometimes unresponsive? For me, it's not just chrome that slows when I load it. It pretty much slows down the whole phone when I try using it. I'm using the stock browser for the time being, but I like chrome better.

I noticed that too after the latest Chrome update. Didn't have an issue with it before the update so I'm blaming chrome, not the ROM.

That's right I forgot he's gone for 2 weeks. Yeah I don't know what the issue is. I was on 3.1 and it also happen in 2.9.

That bites, sorry man I kinda got freaked out when I dirty flashed and it didn't work for me, but once I wiped and flashed breakneck I got my sound back. That S%$ good luck man.

It seems like my troubles started when I flashed the latest version over top of the existing version. I'm going to go back and delete the ROM slot and start over. I know, I got lazy, but also wanted to see what would happen. GPS has been acting odd today and the phone has rebooted several times for no reason.
