I just flashed to 3.1, got rid of Beats (I had issues with it before), and everything seems to be running better than 3.0 except for one thing...the 4.22 camera. The 4.22 gallery is fine, but the camera force closes as soon as I open it with the message "The gallery has stopped working" or something of that nature. Anyone?

I'm having problems running the camera also. It force closes on me too. Also my ringtones will not activate all I get is vibration when my phone rings. I went back to 3.0 for the time being.

The fix is to flash v3.0, until a new update.

I have both cameras and both galleries (from dirty flash?)... so my fix is to hide the new gallery/camera and use the old ones

Is there a way to change the Bootanimation on this rom? I would like to install the DNA Bootanimation  tried everything but iit still boots into the rage rom bootanimation

Rename bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.bak in data-app and put yours in. You may need to do the same thing in system-media.

new camera force closing issue please fix it frnd otherwise a great ROM......more than original motorola build....battery back up is awsome thanks developer for ur hard work don't forget to fix the new camera and gallery

data-app? there is no bootanimation.zip in this folder ...I found it local folder..but I have not sound..

I don't say much in the forums I mostly use them to see how things are going and to see how people are fixing things that are wrong but when I see individuals telling the Dev's about a problem that has been discussed several times and that they are aware of it makes me mad. Read the entries of others and also the FRIGGEN OP. The Dev's work very hard bringing us these Roms that we use to make our phones better they also have day jobs they do this in their spare time so have more respect and take the time to read. They know the camera is not working correctly go back to 3.0 or 2.9 until they find the time to fix the problem.

Spotify has played fine for me in every version of this rom (currently 3.1).

Things I may have done differently: ¹⁾ I install my apps fresh (no backup/restore app). ²⁾ In 3.0, I removed Apollo and installed Awesome Beats v3. ³⁾ I dirty flashed (updated) to 3.1.

Third time flashing was the charm. Its all working now!

And thanks for the tip on Acid! This thing is awesome. I can't believe I've never heard of it before.

TWO THUMBS UP for Team Rage on v3.1.  My phone is back up to speed and runs like a charm.  I had no doubt you guys would put the speed back into my phone.

+1. That should work like a charm. I did a dirty flash and that left me with both cameras. I just use the old one.

It was weird in my case it was almost as if the new camera flashed over the old one so I only had one app listed in app drawerdrawer.so I had to uninstall both and restore the older camera.dirty flashes can do some crazy stuff. Hahaha!! This ROM rocks!!!!
