I had some issues while playing music. The treble was really low and I adjusted it in DSP manager (I removed beats audio). But it worked very erratically . The treble effect turned off randomly in a middle of a song.   For anybody who has this problem , turn OFFthe equalizer/audio effects or whatever under settings -> sound -> audio effects. It seems to have stopped. Too many equalizers? 

That's a great find! I don't know why I didn't think to trouble shoot that option. LoL

I deleted the old Slot 1 then recreated and did all of the wipes, I got the issue every time.  So I deleted and recreated the slot again without the wipes and it worked like a charm.  This is not the first ROM my phone has done that too.  I was just wanting to post as an FYI for anyone else that has a phone like that.   

I ran into this issue yesterday as well, and recreating the slot without the wipes worked for me as well. Thanks for the note about this.

I have not had time to read the thread since v 3.0 was released, so don't flame me too bad if this has been answered.  Since the download, it seems my phone is so much slower than any previous version?  Is this what the ROM is suppose to be like?  Any idea what has caused the ROM to be so slow?

I agree, 3.0 is slower than 2.9. Probably the CPU governor (used to be Interactive, now is 'Performance') which can be changed with ROM Toolbox and the like.

Me too.  I changed mine to interactive and mine sped back up.  Logically this doesn't make sense to me, but it worked

I just tried to get it working. This is what I did for DSP to work for me...


Uninstalled Apollo.

Uninstalled Beats Audio App.

Disabled DSP Manager in App Info.

Turned off Audio Effects.
(system settings > sound)

Enabled DSP Manager.

I recommend clearing the data in each of the apps that you may have used before you disable or uninstall them. I never used any of them before just now, so hopefully you'll have the same results if you clear data of each app first.

I agree usually use hot plug most noticed when using chrome browser

Just switched back to 2.9 phone is flying again no lag
