If I flash over a previous install does the updater script remove deleted packages (sys/app)[like the dsp] or does it only install the new one's?
My worry is that If I do this I'll have the DSP & DrDreBeats installed.

Have you tried the usual delete data in the camera's app info?
with the theme .

Yes, I have tried clearing data and cache, still the same error. I deleted my rom slot and started from scratch and the camera worked even checked it after reinstalling all my apps and it was still working.
However now this morning I am getting the same error. So no idea what is going on.
Now, let's all look behind us and see where the line was. My hypocrisy knows no bounds.

This may sound crazy but i remembered that even after I did my Titanium restore, that RomToolbox was a new addition and therefore not backed up. This being the case RomToolbox would have been the last
app that I would have downloaded and installed after trying the camera successfully. I have since removed RomToolbox and restarted phone and now for the last 3 hours the camera is still functioning.
Dont know that I really need the RomToolbox so I guess we will see how things go for awhile.

Same - Paid version here. Sounds like it could be a data restore issue with TIBU.

You're not restoring system settings when you install v3.0, are you? Just user apps & data via TiBu?

Correct only user apps and data. I to have the paid version of RomToolbox. I have reinstalled RomToolbox and so far so good. I will keep a eye on it,
I guess the true test will be tonight if all is still working correctly when I go to be. After that Titanium Backup will do a backup and reboot the phone
so we will see in the am what happens.

Maybe suspend the scheduled TiBu reboot tonight to eliminate that as a cause...you could do a manual reboot first thing in the morning. I don't usually like scheduled reboots because there's no guarantee that your phone isn't doing something else at the time that might cause issues. Just my opinion though.

There are some system apps that cannot be restored with TiBu. I have had success restoring them with SuperBackup from the Playstore.

anyone want to test something for me??

I had some issues while playing music. The treble was really low and I adjusted it in DSP manager (I removed beats audio). But it worked very erratically . The treble effect turned off randomly in a middle of a song. For anybody who has this problem , turn OFFthe equalizer/audio effects or whatever under settings -> sound -> audio effects. It seems to have stopped. Too many equalizers?
