Messenger working fine for me... but I have seen this issue addressed in this forum on older versions:

Yes the fix is to go to your dialer and type *#*#4636#*#* then go to phone information and scroll down to preferred network type. Set that to lte, cmda, evdo then exit and toggle airplane mode on and off. Presto it's fixed

Good luck

That worked! I would be lost if not for all of you smart individuals on this site.. Man I Love this place, I have learned so much here! :)

After flashing, phone can't get a signal. Any ideas as to a possible solution?

That happened to someone else a few posts back. We believed it's a bad download. We're waiting to hear back from his results of re downloading the update and re flashing.

Could you try that and report back? ^_^

I love this rom, and thanks for your work on it! I solved the issue myself. I had read a few pages back that someone did a full wipe of the internal storage. That's exactly what I did. I backed up any pertinent files to the sd card, formated the internal storage, and re-flashed the rom. It's working just fine now.

On another note, you bring up an important note. There's a number of people out there who download a rom & flash before checking the md5 sum. I know, because I made that mistake once & flashed a corrupted zip. Since then, I always check the md5 if that information is available, before flashing.

Alright! I'm on the RAGE ROM as I'm writing this. Created a new ROM slot and installed the 3.0 and deleted cache/divcache and it booted up with instant network connection. So it prob was a bad download previously.Good job with the ROMs!

Love your works, as always.

I too am having issues with Beats Audio. No sound when headphones are plugged in with it installed. Uninstall and sound resumes. Now I'm having an issue when playing music with DSP Manager. "DSP Manager has stopped working." Seems to be a conflict somewhere I just have to find it.

Try this:

Use a root file explorer
Delete the DSPManager.apk from /system/app
Reboot
Install Beats

Vice versa for DSP Manager

I tried this (deleted DSPManager.apk, rebooted, installed Beats) but I'm getting the same issue with no audio.

I'll try the reverse to see if I can get DSP Manager working with no errors without Beats. All this is strange because I was having no issues with DSP Manager previous to this update. I'll keep playing with it. Thanks!

I all else fails I'll just get rid of both. I only really use a few Podcast apps and Google Music, which has a built in EQ and other audio settings.

I did both ways. Still no audio on Beats. Other way around DSP crashes but I have audio.

I just want to report back that I got the mobile hotspot working. Looks like it was totally device related. (of course we knew the ROM was perfect) 8f any one else has this issue, what I did to get it to work was:

Verify entitlement set to 0

Reboot

Verify that it stuck...again

Boot into recovery

Wipe cache and dalvik a few times

Reboot

Rage

I would guys I had some stupid setting hanging around from a few releases ago.

Thanks guys!

Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

I messed around uninstalling /reinstalling beats and DSP manager without much success.
Then I decided to wipe and do a clean ROM install, then just uninstall both DSP and beats, then installed acid audio engine with noozy add on and bingo, sound is good.
My experience with acid is that the universal 5 version works, but at least for me the new 7 version does not.

Bottom line here seems to be Beats doesn't play nice with this rom. If you do a dirty load, you'll have problems. I deleted the slot and started from stratch. If I installed Beats, then everything broke. Even it I tried uninstalling and deleting the .APK.

Bottom line, DON'T TOUCH BEATS! Needs a little more fine tuning.

Nice! I have somehow missed this audio engine so I'm going to give it a try and hope for the best.

the simple zip from this page is what I use. It's harder to find since they came out with newer versions but when I tried newer it borked my phone.

Is anyone having trouble with the camera? When I try to start it I get "camera error" "camera unable to initialize"

Now, let's all look behind us and see where the line was. My hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Have you tried the usual delete data in the camera's app info?
