Just downloaded 2.9. To make it more to my liking I got rid of goo manager through rom toolbox, replaced DSP manager with the Awesome beats DSP manager

 , and replaced the deskclock with the 4,2 deskclock . Tje DSP mamger is wonky Beats isn't.

 

[APP] Android 4.2 Desk Clock APK

Works on 4.1 AOSP/JB ROMS ONLY 

INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Copy the file to the /system/app folder on your device using a root explorer like ES File Explorer or similar.
2. Then, set the permissions of the DeskClock.apk file to RW- R– R–. However, before you copy over the APK, make sure to rename the original DeskClockGoogle.apk file (and also DeskClockGoogle.odex if the file is present) to something else to back it up, which you can then restore if needed by simply deleting the new file and renaming the old one again.
3. Reboot your device to be able to use the new clock.

If you still got problems, follow this--

Flash the zip. Reboot.Delete the original clock. Rename the new clock to DeskClock.apk( like the old one) Then delete /data/data/com.google.android.deskclock. Reboot. Now the both the clock and widget will work perfectly.

Use the zip. This clock alarm is much easier to use. Just clear defaults before using it. Finally, I followed someone's advice and flashed one of these two battery zips to get rid of the rom toggles so I could just place power toggles. You can find themon the black widow rom site.

After flashing the framework toggles are gone allowing you to place your own choice of toggles.

I realize you were getting rid if the toggles, but I prefer the Axiom dotted circle battery

Haha, BDH. I always use awesome beats instead of DSP manager. Tried goo manager but it just downloaded text not zip files and has been problematic for many, and I always repace that ICS deskclock with the jellybean one in all of the roms I use.If some people want to take these suggestions and it makes a rom , not just yours, more enjoyable, then it's worth the post. I sincerely hope your not offended.

Personally. I like your help, opinion, and choices. I think it speaks volumes about the community we have growing. Thank you.

But. Perhaps it would've been more nice of you to ask before posting a string of changes to someone's ROM. It's like a work of Art, and I would definitely ask Da Vinci before altering one of his paintings that's on public display. :

Didn't realize I needed to after I saw a post about someone getting rid of the framework toggles. But I understand your point. I always donate to the rom developers whose roms I wind up keeping. I don't see your donation site. Please advise.

There's a difference between what he posted and what you posted. What he posted was something of personal preference. What you posted was a ton of stuff that would "make the ROM better." Your words not mine.

It's cool though, whatever. Just don't start arguing and fighting in this thread.

Word! Same here. Have you checked out the new RAGE theme? It's pretty sweet. I never was the type to use themes, but I am definitely using this one. :
