I have v2.9 installed but goo manager keeps telling me there is an upgrade to my rom. It wants me to upgrade to v2.8? How do I get rid of the notifications?

Just go into the Goo Manager preferences and change the notifications to Never.

This is a known bug since 2.7 at least.

Trying to download but on my third attempt..it still stops at 99%. Never had any problems downloading from the host? I tried a download manager also.

Took a few tries to install 2.9 even when using a fresh slot. I had to use a fresh slot, flash, then fix permissions, then do the first boot up.
Anybody able to help me remove DSPmanager and install Acid Audio? I'm tired of DSPmanager being a piece of crap and changing the volume to max all the time.

The best way to remove would be to use Titanium Backup, or you could use a root file explorer like ES File Explorer. I have been using both across all my devices since my first days of rooting.

I just flashed 2.8 yesterday, and the Official OTA a day before that..Hats off to BDH for a very fluid and stable ROM. Some questions though. I had a script for undervolting previous ROMs. When I tried to run them on this one it caused my phone to reboot. I read through the OP and it says full init.d support but when I try to flash the set I had been using it won't work. I guess they had to re-write them for the JB kernel. Anyone have a link to something that works for this ROM? Has anyone undervolted? I had the tweakerz app that I had been using but it won't load any of the modules. Any help would be appreciated. Once again great job on the ROM!

@ bdh, if it is ndt too late, please allow an option for a right sided clock in the update / future b/c I have lots of icons on the left & a center clock would wreack havoc w/functionality, I'd have to choose features not to use in notification bar…
thanks in advance & keep up the good work!

Need some help here. I may have fubar'd my device. I suspected a corrupt system app so I was going to reinstall stock. I went into SS and wiped 'system', which is what I'm worried about, FDR, cache and dalvik. I'm afraid to install stock within SS. HELP!!!! What do I do now?????
Edit: Maybe use Matt's utility to reinstall stock?
Edit,Edit: I do have a SS backup of stock JB...can I restore that from SS?
