Gary,
Sorry you don't like the inverted Gapps, but I love them. Especially at night.
+1 for an inverted GApps flashable .zip
Thanks for the another great ROM. Really smooth and responsive, great battery life, and light on RAM usage.

One other request, if it's possible, a long-press back-arrow to kill the current app like in AOKP would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: just found this little goodie (LMT):

Again, GREAT ROM!

BDH... after 18 hours of using Rage 2.4, my phone has NEVER been this fast! Not sure how you did it but, Mahalo!

I had a few issues with superuser and Rom Toolbox working together to restore my apps, any ideas?

I had the same issues. Try going into each app's info and clear cache and data and then force stop. Go back and try running ROM toolbox again. I actually had to do this a couple times before it would work. If that fails, delete superuser and then ROM toolbox, reinstall both from market and repeat steps above. It will work eventually.

Yesterday I used Matt's utility to upgrade to the latest .16 stock ROM immediately followed by install Rage 2.4. Now usually I brick my device somewhere in one of those processes and spend the rest of the day 'unbricking' it. Happily both went flawlessly! Kudos to Matt and BDH for excellent directions and products.

My $.02 on inverted vs stock Google apps...although I like inverted apps, the trade off is that they are usually signed differently than stock and when there is an update you can't download it. With that being said...I prefer a dark theme (better on battery life and the eyes at night) but don't want the hassle of customized apps that won't update.

Thanks again for a great ROM. I'm looking forward to all this great battery life I'm hearing about once i get done with fiddling with all my settings and apps, lol.

I have to agree with everyone that this ROM is super fast. It is definitely smoother. My friend who is a avid Iphone user was also impressed by the speed. First time I have ever heard him compliment android. Updated gapps is a pain when inverting them so I can understand if it doesn't get added or made into a flashable zip.

So far my only problem with the rom, or it may be JB, is that in the middle of a game or app if I hit the lock button and then go to unlock it, the phone stays black for about 30 seconds then unlocks. I am not sure if it is locked and then restarts.

I've got the same issue when playing music.

I've noticed the same thing. When my screen finally comes back on, I don't have any signal either. I've only noticed it when the screen automatically turns off when an app is running.

O.K., already I've decided it's my "Daily Driver" - did a little Photoshop trickery to make my own "Rage Wallpaper". Needed a touch more color!

Great work again BDH! Thanks for all of your work. Keep trying to cheat on this ROM and then going back. It is my daily driver for good reason.

I will post my rendition of the "Rage Logo" wallpaper - but first, with permission from BDH of course?

I really like the red Rage wallpaper...seems more like Rage than subdued blue or grey. IMHO.

Just had an interesting find - might just be related to me. When cpusleeper is enabled, best Linpack run was about 40 with multi. I deselected autostart and rebooted and got 70+. Sounds like cpusleeper is bugged. Seems like cpusleeper is not working as intended, right? Sounds like a cpu is sleeping while out of idle. Can someone confirm?

I have had the same issue with no signal after it comes back on.

I was thinking about that myself and might actually just take the app out.

I could be wrong but I'm thinking it could be something with the AOSP Lockscreen. Never heard of the issue until then. I'll look into it tonight though when I get home.

Could you make the lock screen into the cat signal for the internet defense league? Even one update cycle would mean a lot to the org.
