Bye Guys - I jumped ship today... well, not manufacturer at least! I was seduced by the new Droid Maxx and made the move this afternoon. I'll drop back in and give a "One Week" review just for info purposes. I do have to say to "BDH" and the gang, I have thoroughly enjoyed running RAGE for the past several months and that you have all done a great job with it. I will miss that freedom, I'm sure. Later... I deleted and reinstalled apollo, and found an updated adfree so i can now get the new host files. Good to go.

 

I'm still having service issues. If i'm somewhere that doesn't have great service (my house, for example), I cannot send texts while wifi is on, and i cannot use the internet nor wifi-dependent apps with wifi off. I do both of these things throughout the day, so have to keep switching it back and forth.

 

Is there a service booster we can get somewhere? My friend had TMobile (or was it Cingular?) and she had no svc in her house.  She told them she would drop them if they didnt fix it. So they sent her this thing that looked like an internet router, but it boosted her cell service! Why can't Verizon be that cool?

For some reason, I can't send any sms OR mms. I can make calls though?

texting has stopped for me also.     I can recieve texts, calls work ok, but sending texts is a no-go.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot but I'm new to this but I get the basic concept. So I follow the instruction exactly going from Safestrap ( using the newest ) and using Rom slot 1 with 3GB, Full wipe and install but every time I go to reboot/restart it says no "OS install" Am I doing something wrong? I can install others like Cyanogenmod the same way but just not RageRom 3.3 any help would be appreciated

If you are using safestrap 3.60, Rage Rom most likely will not work...this ROM is still supported but is not going to be updated. BDH is developing for the S4 among other devices but not the RAZR anymore. BloodRage is Rage Rom but more debloated, themed, has some cool add ons and has optional OC baked in.

I have to update the op ( update is ready)...but bloodrage is safestrap 3.60 and 3.11 compatible

Any fixes for the text messaging? I cannot send any texts, I get them fine.
text messaging works fine in the stock ROM however...not in Rage unfortunately.
