It would b awesome if you would've put beats (Dre application) for the stock music player, overall pretty good tomorrow after making some adjustments. The only thing I can say though is that the splash screen "rage rom " hangs for a good minute almost 2 before my phone starts up

As far as beats audio goes it was in the ROM a few versions back but there were a lot of issues with it. The boot animation thing is nothing to worry about it always takes the first few boot processes longer as the phone is going through the initial boot process.

Apex launcher does not have that feature but you can install it if that's something you'd like. Also there are a lot of good task killers available I prefer cleanmaster

I'll look into that 1 thanks... I've flashed my older Samsung fascinate back when that was still in style, but it's always a learning process....what else can I do besides overclock and flashing the rom? I have like 120 apps installed so I guess I'm challenging my curiosity to see what else I can do here

Okay I followed the instructions for overclocking: I flashed modules an then overclock after backing up my rom. I went to set CPU,but where is "screen on" exclusive priority 100? I don't see that...

Fellow rage tomorrow testers I also noticed a bug in this rom...when you add the widget for "favorite contacts " it outs the 4x1 on whichever screen you desire...cool right? Only thing is where it says "pull down" to arrange it doesn't let you...instead it selects the widget as if your gonna resize or remove...I'm on xt912 razr maxx hd...just sharing what I noticed...good rom thus far

Within the setcpu app if you swipe from right to left you will eventually get to a menu for profiles at the top you will see a plus sign with a circle around it. press it. then you should see something like "set this profile for" select screen on/screen off. by default screen off is selected press screen off and it will change to screen on. select next then set the frequency set the governer and scheduler. then hit next there will be another slider. slide it all the way to 100 and hit next then make sure you enable profiles at the bottom of the profiles main menu. there is no need to set at boot the scripts load everything at boot.

so i guess i should set the min to 300 and the max to 1335 ? just a stupid guess here...but i'm assuming that would b the best for optimized performance here.,.,.??? lol .,.,thats what sucks about this phone considering theres new processors that are much faster...i guess at some point i was entertained and curious to see how far i can push this phone..to see what its limitations are

I followed all of the steps, each one in order. for some reason, it's been stuck in the setup process and says, "Please wait, this may take a few minutes." for about an hour or so. Should I just try the process all over again?

Wipe cache, dalvik, factory reset, system and try again. If it still fails you may have a bad download. Let me know and I'll post a link to another hosting site.

Also if you are installing the overclock install and set up the ROM first!! The oc messes up the install.

In reference to my previous post about Snapchat; I fixed it.  I think what happened was I Titanium Backup'd, and restored Snapchat and there must have been a hiccup there. I just uninstalled the app and re-installed it from the Play Store and we're all peachy keen.  Still having some texting issues though...

I'll look into that 1 thanks... Try "underclocking." The last ROM I had had my phone slightly underclocked, all apps still ran smoothly, but the phone lasted damn near 2 days without needing to recharge!

Also, I have the Plum Crazy theme and it's sick.

This happened to me too. Make sure you switch to a different ROM slot (2, 3, 4, or stock) first, then click on the ROM slot you are trying to install to (for example here slot 1), and delete it. The "Delete" option is grayed out if you are looking at the active slot. In other words, you can't delete the slot you're sitting on, you have to move over first.

Then you can re-install the .zip onto the new, completely blank slot.

The toggles are baked in but awhile back a method to do that was posted in here somewhere. I never tried it. I use power toggles on my homescreen but when I'm browsing or in another app I find the notification toggles nice and very useful. If you seach the thread its in here somewhere. :)
