I had to go back to stock because things were just running way too slow on my phone. I think it's because I have so many apps installed, but since I use the internal memory for the slot storage, it hurts performance. Or, it could be my phone, but when I'm on stock and have a lot of free space, the phone performs much better.

Therefore, is there a way to flash this ROM onto the stock side? I'm assuming it's safe to do so since we have fastboot images for the latest JB OTA. But, doesn't this require a custom updater bin in the update.zip file? Wasn't sure if such a thing was create for Rage Rom.

In fact, are there any OG RAZR/MAXX ROMS out there that allow flashing to the stock side?

I figure at this point, there won't be any more OTAs as the MAXX is pretty much a dead phone in the eyes of Motorola and Verizon, so I don't have an issue if I have to fastboot back to stock in the future, but I'd like to see if not having to run a ROM on a slot would improve performance?

I'm running 3.3 on my maxx and it's doing great! I would suggest to move any possible apps to your SD card, this frees up memory so the system has more memory and fluidity. Besides that, wiping the catch and Dalvik helps too. Also, try using the "clean master" app, and "greenify" from the app store.

For some reason, my phone doesn't want to stay locked onto GPS. It takes a good 2-5 minutes of driving around before it locks on, in which case then it runs slow. Is there any way to fix this?

Well as far as baking it in goes bdh is working on a bunch of stuff right now and as he has said previously the updates for this rom are just about over. But if you can put the apk up somewhere that I can DL it I would be happy to see what I can do to get it working!

Sorry man I've been busy lately. This is not an apk its a mod that contains an apk. To install it you need the entire download (including the utility) from xda. I would post a link but xda forums are currently down for maintenance. I will post it as soon as its back up.

Also updating apps I am getting insufficient space available.specifically.with.chrome? I.was experience lag so I wiped dalvik and.cache and so far so good.

How much space did you allocate for the ROM slot you installed ragerom on? I would say 2gb would be the minimum I would recommend. Move as many apps as possible to internal storage.

I assumed you had most if your apps on phone storage. If you can put your apps on sd-ext cool.the problem you described (insufficient space) is usually caused by too many apps on phone storage.
