I would suggest all of the above but also suggest using Clean Master to free up some RAM.

telekinectically tapping, tenaciously traversing the terrain...
I find your use of alliteration amusing admirable and awesome!

Hi fellow droids,
I'm on 98.72.8, Android version 4.1.2, running Jellywiz RLS7. I've got Safestrap 3.11.
How do I proceed? Do I wipe the slot I'm currently on, get the OTA update, and then install this on a new rom slot? Or am I smoking too much crack?
Thanks for helping!

If you want to keep the ability to use your current ROM, use a Compatibility Tool to switch kernels (use a computer to switch kernels every time you switch between a .8 and a.16 ROM)I'm on 98.72.8, Android version 4.1.2, running Jellywiz RLS7. I've got Safestrap 3.11.

Or use Matt's Utility to fully upgrade to .16 (or take the OTA).

GSM version of v3.3 posted in the OP!!! GSM users please remember, you will need to be on the older JB kernel in order to run this build. NOT the newer JB kernel, and no I do not have a link to it. I'm sure you can find it on xda somewhere.

Is you're overall battery life suffering? I don't think this is a major concern to be honest if battery life is still good.Question; is android os typically the second highest battery user after screen? Seems like Android os had been using more battery lately, not sure if it's due to something I did or not. Other option would be wiping cache and dalvik to see if that helps. Just curious, thanks.

84% is a little high for screen. You should look at some ways to save battery there. Is you're overall battery life suffering? I don't think this is a major concern to be honest if battery life is still good.
