@ lazer don't use other apps use the hacked mobile hotspot app. Its a built in free WiFi. hotspot. Look in your app drawer and find mobile hotspot. Follow the prompts. :) edit yeah what soccer said lol!

Lol, I'm ready to jump off a cliff today and just hang the towel. Another blonde moment... Forgot it was baked into this rom. Well after removing FoxFi and 2 other tethering apps I was trying and rebooting both phone and my tablet, I successfully got the built in tethering to work. doh

Typing this on my tablet -tethered at the moment.

Hey All.

I've installed the rom and so far so good but it wouldn't send text messages.  receive but not send.

I did the old *#*#4636#*#* trick and changed the radio from LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA to LTE/CDMA/EvDo and it works.

the only problem is I have to do this every time I reboot the darn phone.

Anyone have a way I can set this and forget it?

You could try just toggling airplane mode on/off after a reboot... better than doing the whole thing! :)

Sorry this isn't directly a rage question, but y'all are the smartest Android people I know!  Is it possible to stop an app from requesting to update?  I like the old version of K9, and don't want to update.  I've searched and found multiple answers that don't work.  While I'm asking, is there any way to reduce the number of share options when sending pics?  I don't need 50 options, maybe 4.  Thank you!

As far as the update notifications.... the only way I know is to open play store go to settings and un check the update notifications box..... unless the notifications come from within the app itself and not the play store.... if that is in-fact the case, then that and the options menu would have to be edited within the app using apktool .... but you would have to know exactly what XML or smali to edit..... and that specifically, I personally can't answer :)

You can always just keep ignoring the update notification tho..... I know "nag" screens and messages are quite annoying .....

You could use TiBu and "disconnect" the app from the App Store. That should stop the update reminders.

I'm having some issues with overall processes (loading some apps, moving between home screens, coming back to the home screen, etc.) being laggy and sometimes the phone freezes up for a few seconds at a time (10-20 seconds). You guys think I may just need a clean install? I'm on the 6/20 build.

I'd try wiping dalvik and cache (might as well fix permissions while your at it) and see if that helps. I use cache cleaner and task killer apps regularly also.

@ras I would follow that up with setting up greenify. I know others have and really liked the outcome. :)

I would suggest all of the above but also suggest using Clean Master to free up some RAM.
