Well sort of, I mean I have TIBU and a backup made AFTER flashing both .zips in the OP. It's just the pain in restoring everything and email accounts, ect... if starting from scratch again.

You can restore all your user apps with TiBu by creating an update.zip. You can also restore all email accounts with user data from TiBu, although it's pretty easy to just set then up manually.

Wow, cool, I never used TIBU in that way. I just go to "Restore Apps" then unselect all and manually run down the list and click on the one's I want in a given ROM. I'll have to try that next time and thanks for the tip.

On another note, was just thinking. Couldn't that 2nd .zip that overclocks be altered to include the 1200 or say make and add a standard one that could be flashed for someone in my shoes that already did both .zips but wants to keep the governors but go back to stock speeds? Just a thought and not just saying it for me but for others that may find OCing not working well with their phones after applying the .zips as was my case previously when all would seem well and then I would get stuck in bootloops eventually.

If you want to change speeds use smanager and alter the script to whatever frequencies you like. You can change 1335 to 1200 no problem that's why those instructions are in the op. Every phone reacts differently to overclocking hence the ability to edit. :) the init.d installer zip( the one in your first reply) has no frequencies in it to load so everything stays stock you just gain the extra governors.:)

PS you can edit the scripts in that one too.

If I try that, don't I need to change/alter the voltage somehow also?

Ok I'm in SManager, Followed directions. A little confused about the part Script/ Executable. It's either/or on my phone - can't select both.

Anyhow I've tried both ways and opened with Smanager to edit.. when I press the back button after changing to 1200 in the last line, it says "Unable to save"

This had happened to me before, remember? And I ended up trying a different editor selection and soft bricked / bootloops and had to start from scratch.

What am I doing wrong? :o

echo 0 (300 )1000 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 1( 575) 1200 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 2 (775) 1325 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 3 (1100) 1388 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
echo 4 (1325) 1398 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu

This is frequency table the numbers in ( ) are the freq. The others are the voltages. Just make sure you leave it as you found otherwise! Spaces are important! Lol!

Yep exactly but when I change the 1325 to 1200 and then press the back and select save, it says "Unable to save". I must be missing something. A setting in Smanager? I dunno, I'm stuck

Just open it directly. And use the table above as a guide.

When you get to 90 modules file just open it and select edit. The open directly edit and back out it will warn you about bricking select brick (no worries) then back again on phone. Then reboot.

From OP:

If at this point you wish to change frequencies open smanager app. Got it
Press green arrow at top right until you see / then go to system/ etc/init.d open it. Got it

You will see a file named 90modules open it as script/ executable. Confused, Mine either allows me to select ls script OR Executable , although I've tried both methods.

Select edit at the top. Open directly no copying! Yep, Always open directly, I've never chosen that "copying" in the prompt.

Use sm editor to open it if it asks. Yep

Edit the frequencies to your liking. Yep, change as described in last line 1325 to 1200 - making sure to add no spaces or anything

Press the back arrow on phone. Yep

Select save changes. When I do this it comes up "unable to save"

If it warns you about bricking device select brick. Never get to this ???

Exit app and reboot.

Remember to change profile if you use setcpu.

Doh, Just figured it out and got it to work. Rebooting now.

I guess for idiots like me, there should be a part in the instructions when opening Smanager initially to select "Browse as root". I wasn't doing that

WiFi tether is baked in. You don't need 3rd party apps..... :)
