Today my speaker gave out, weirdest thing, it just doesn't play any sound anymore. Tried phone call, music, power down, reboot, wipe cache/dalvik etc and still nothing. I then reverted back to previous version and voila, sounds again. I seems to run into too many weird issue with this version so I guess I'm sticking with previous one, havent ran into any weird issue with that one yet (knock on wood).

If you lose your speaker again try playing music then pressing on the speaker to see if it starts working. This happened to me and it was the result of a loose speaker connection. Replaced my Maxx under warranty. Good luck!

It may just be my Maxx, but I've tried 3.2 and 3.3 and for some reason my battery doesn't seem to last as long and performance doesn't seem as smooth as 2.9.  I set everything up the same each time, but for whatever reason 2.9 is the sweet spot for my phone.  It's weird to me how much things can vary from device to device.  Huge props to BDH and the team for making an "old" phone fun again.  I'm enjoying my Maxx so much I'm not even drooling over the new releases, which for a tech geek is a big deal!

ji I have a doubt is there will be any update for this ROM in future ..becoz bdh already told this will be the final build... so rage ROM ended in version 3.3???

i think bdh said there would still be updates just much much farther apart. i think at this point rage is a solid very fun rom. we may have to decide that if we want "new" stuff to look elsewhere (as grimm said who knows?) but this rom will be my daily driver until i retire this old razr haha!

Start with a new slot, wipe and flash. When it boots up, wait a few minutes before going through setup.

Tried this 3 times now either the rom wont boot or it boots up to setup screen with no service....tried redownload this rom 3 times also...still no luck.

I think there is something wrong with the download link

What size is your download? Should be something like 214.5 MB. That's the same download link others have used with no issues. Have you tried downloading to PC and then transferring to phone? And did you delete the slot, create a new slot and do wipes before flashing?

Alright finally got it working, my lockscreen doesnt have the Rage icon like the screenshot.

I think that's an old screenshot. its the aosp lock screen the newer ones are stock.
I also put a mirror up on the thread (dev-host)a few pages back for the rom. if any one has trouble downloading from op. I'll put it up again.

Ok... since Greenify was added to this wonderful ROM I've decided to try it out.  Being new to this app, I'm curious how current users are putting it to use.  Do you just hibernate offending apps or hibernate everything you don't want/need notifying on its own... or some in-between method?  Any recommendations would be welcome.

Sinju...just wondering if you are seeing what you wanted out of Greenify?  Was thinking of putting to use myself.

Actually yes. I was struggling with memory/resources. With Greenify my phone is snappy and fresh again

On the greenify topic I just wanted to point out that if you use rom toolbox you can convert some system apps (be smart!) to user apps ie the browser or chrome to make it even more effective also I personally greenify everything I can except setcpu. edit I don't recommend hibernating any custom launchers (nova apex go)
