OK so I've never had to do this but the fix for the SMS problem was this:

Dial this *#*#4636#*#*

Should bring up a menu to select network mode

Select cmda/evdo/lte (or the closest option) lol

Then go and toggle airplane mode on/off.

At this point you should be able to text message

Hope this is correct I am going from memory and I never had to do it personally.

Like this if it helps

@justin here ya go! :)

You will have to toggle airplane mode on and off after reboot as this doesn't survive.

Thanks, that worked, although if I have to toggle airplane mode all the time that is going to get old quickly.  Actually this menu is the same as the one shown by the app I was referring to on ICS, I guess the app was just a shortcut to these features.

You should only have to after a reboot. :)

Just wanted to say great job on the update! I actually went away from this ROM for a bit (sorry) but somehow, I always find myself coming back because this is just...THE BEST! Thanks for all of your hard work.

Cheers

Weirdness, just had a random reboot (it bypasses safestrap) when I was playing Deity War.  No extra Module or OC, running at 800 MHZ max.

@justintoxicated, I've been doing the Airplane mode on/off every time i reboot (usually 1/2 times a week. not really that big of a deal).

Ok... since Greenify was added to this wonderful ROM I've decided to try it out.  Being new to this app, I'm curious how current users are putting it to use.  Do you just hibernate offending apps or hibernate everything you don't want/need notifying on its own... or some in-between method?  Any recommendations would be welcome.

Personally, I hibernate only those programs that continually run that I only want to run when I open then; such as anti-virus, ROM Toolbox, Kindle, etc.

I installed it on another blur ROM, aviator, and it works fine. It uses the default stock gallery so no compatibility issues like you see on many 4.2.2 ROMs.

Hey guys and gals! Just wanted to share some info about the mp3 downloader. If the app gives you update info just ignore it. The newer version is crappy and I searched for quite awhile for this older version. Thanks.

Today my speaker gave out, weirdest thing, it just doesn't play any sound anymore.  Tried phone call, music, power down, reboot, wipe cache/dalvik etc and still nothing.  I then reverted back to previous version and voila, sounds again.  I seems to run into too many weird issue with this version so I guess I'm sticking with previous one, havent ran into any weird issue with that one yet (knock on wood).
