OK so I saw that you cannot install straight to 2.2. You are suppose to go 2.1 and then 2.2. But how do I get from 2.1 to 2.2. I have 2.2 downloaded but when I go into Safestrap and apply it to my 2.1 install, I reboot and when I look at about the phone it says it is still 2.1. Help please, sure it is something obvious.........

pretty sure gary said he forgot to rename the update 2.2 and its still called 2.1 under settings because thats what mine says so dont worry about it

Got another CDMA test build that is uploading now. If it works this time, I'll convert the changes to the GSM build as well.

Tried your 2.2-1 build and sorry to say that I got stuck on the Red Eye again. I remade Rom slot1 when I flashed the Rom and tried again with the two wipes but still no go. :(

After spending a bunch of time flashing and re-flashing 2.2 and never getting past the moto-eye I went back and read the forum posts and figured out that you have to flash 2.2 on top of 2.1. I flashed 2.1, booted, then flashed 2.2 and no problems at all. Running very smoothly. I'm liking this ROM a lot! Thanks, BDH!

Got another test build if anyone wants to try it out. Let me know how it goes please. Again this is to test v2.2 to see how it does when flashed by itself. Please wipe system, factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, then flash. Rom Slot 1 only please.

BigDaddyHicks, let me say it loaded flawlessly. I did delete slot 1, recreate slot 1, wipe system, factory reset, wipe cache, wipe delvik cache, wipe cache again, wipe delvik cache again, and then flashed.

After reboot, it took about 5 minutes before the phone was ready to set up.

Congratulations and Thanks!!

Thank you for testing! Link will be added to OP and changes will be converted over to the GSM build as well.

BDH, I'm getting this error message when I try to run TiBU to reinstall my user apps and data. "BusyBox works but the "su" command does not elevate to root. There's something wrong with the "su" binary and/or "Superuser" app. Please try to root your device again (possibly with different methods/tools) or check with your ROM provider."

Any ideas?

Edit: Never mind. I went in to TiBU and deleted the superuser app and reloaded from the store. Then I went into TiBU and wiped data, cache and then forced stop. Opened up the superuser app and needed to update, so did that. Then went into app info and wiped cache, data and forced stop. I went back to TiBU and ran as normal and I didn't get any error message that time. Currently reinstalling all my user apps and data.

I do not have the notification bar either. I have tried all settings I can think of in the Apex Settings to make it work, but no luck. Maybe BDH can shed some light on this.

My notification bar is missing and can't set any wallpaper either. Set on Apex or Home, neither works.

I've never had issues with the wallpaper. Can you choose a wallpaper but it doesn't save or do you not have an option?

You can select the wallpaper, it says it is setting the wallpaper then just goes to a black screen.
