This IS possible, but HIGHLY not recommended. You can find the method with a bit of searching back in this thread, but there is a very real possibility of bricking.Got a question is there a way to switch internal SD with external SD?

Actually I was changing the wrong one, the 1325 number in the above sequence, it caused the phone to lock up every time. I decided to remove the OC and just use it the way it was as I wasn't seeing a huge improvement anyway. If I get bored I might try it again sometime. Thank you very much for all your assistance!

The hotspot is setup by default. Just open the app and check the box to the right of "Mobile Hotspot." Let the app do it's thing and once the phone shows the hotspot is on, you can customize the name (network SSID) and password. Once your changes are done the app will restart the hotspot. And that's it
The only thing to note is that the first time a computer connects to your phone's hotspot it will take a minute or two for the computer to complete the network process and have internet available. After that initial time connecting to the hotspot will go quick.
Its been awhile but its pretty easy. Just open the app and follow the prompts. You will be asked to set a password etc. I don't remember The rest but it took like two minutes to set up.
just try it before you really need it.
Thanks to both of you for this information. I figured it would be pretty straight forward and just wanted to check having not used it before. I very much appreciate the help.

Edit: Oh make sure you leave a space between the script that loads modules and the frequency table

This rom seems about perfect except one thing. I can't text msg. Anyone have a fix? The last ROM I used which was ICS based had a control panel where I could switch 3g / 4g gsm settings etc. I can't remember what that tool was called but I would imagine it is a problem with those settings. I'm on the 912 max
I will have to try another rom if there is no fix for text messaging, kind of a big bug...
to clarify I can receive text msgs but I can't send anything.

no sir i bring my phone into india ,,when i am using gsm i am getting data, but when i am using cdma not getting data only calls and sms..

I would think that's because you're using a GSM SIM Card correct?

no sir...u know well xt 912 is a world phone we can use gsm or cdma in outside usa,, i brought verizon handset from usa through E bay,, actually the guy programmed and load indian cdma (reliance) prl on it through cdma work shop.. and my meid is registered in indian cdma server(reliance),and i swapped my cdma no in to the new RSN means omit last one digit in meid after registration, and it is officially registered to reliance cdma network and start running without sim card..but i can make call or sms but no data working in cdma mode... but if i put gsm sim on it and changed network status GSM and i can make calls sms and data also...i dont know why data not working in cdma mode but data works in gsm sim
