Thanks again Jl90.  I see in the module that only the lowest freq received lower voltage, has there been attempt to lower voltage on other freq?

I had them undervolted but it made things lag. I found the stock voltage is best for everything but 300mhz. you can drop em in increments of ten eg: 1398 to 1388 just be careful to rewrite script exactly as it was except the numerical values.

@ aneesh I would stay at 250mhz min

Lowering the freq. Below 250 could give your phone problems with wake up. Its your phone i just don't want you to have problems friend :)

No problem. The hot plug governor is probably best on battery.:)
Edit pegasusq gives me best benchmarks if anyone is wondering.

If I wanted to bump the voltage for the 1335 MHz speed up from the current 1398 mV, would the next step then be 1408 mV or 1410 mV? Aside from battery life, would there be any risk in doing this? Just wondering.

If your trying to gain speed bump freq to 1350 just be careful going past 1375 will cause stability issues and bench marks can diminish. On the voltages leave it and if you feel you want to adjust it 1410 should be fine as that is what it was previously.

I'm happy with the speed I'm getting at 1335, plus I did have stability issues with the earlier version at 1350 and had lowered it down to 1300 as a result. I was wondering, in case I were to notice any stability issues at 1335 (I haven't so far) if bumping the voltage a bit might be worth a try. I'm not too concerned about the hit on battery life since the phone spends very little time at the top speed (and I have a maxx).

I have found better stability with current set up. That's why I updated the zip I think 1410 was the cause not 1350 but I was covering all the bases.:) everyone's phone reacts a little different to oc so feel free to experiment. That's the reason for the smanager app and instructions. Just be careful if anyone breaks their phone its on them! Lol!

Anyone else have trouble with Hulu+ on this ROM?  I've uninstalled/reinstalled, wipe cache/dalvik, uninstall any ad blocking program also but nothing seems to help.  Hulu+ started up just fine but when trying to play video, it give an error.

Just downloaded the app, logged in, and played 5 minutes of an episode. No issues. I'm running Rage 3.2 (no OC)

First off, thanks to the DEV for a great ROM!

Second, I have a couple questions and an issue: I have Safe Strap 3.11 setup with 4 slots, Rage is installed into slot 1. My previous rom was AOKP installed into slot 2 (with the 3gb options), and I didn't put too much thought into future issues when I created them so i'm now stuck with slot 1 only having enough room for the 2gb option. NOW with that said I have very little room and stuff like Evernote is saying that i do not have enough room to download my notes.

SO, with that back story said. Is there a way to make the rom slot 1 larger? I have wiped slots 2-4 and would even like to erase slots 3 and 4 and allocate that space to 1 and 2.

2nd issue. After installing my phone was running good for a couple days and then started showing hiccups again. (I think it might be the 2 year old hardware issue) SO i decided to run the Overclocking mods, and i can tell that it's faster. I only messed with the speed (set to 1335MHz). I didn't mess with anything on the smanager app. Now it seems like when I tax out the CPU (loading gmail, loading the very slow chrome) i'm getting Force Closes.

SO, does anyone have an idea of what i can tweak, or adjust to stop the FC's and keep the speed up in order to make up for the slowing down hardware?

Agreed. I don't see how/why OC would affect Hulu+, but it may be worth a try.

@charm edit freq. To 1300 and see older hardware may react badly to high freq.if you used old method lower voltage on max freq to 1398mv :)

I did this:

Overclocking!!! (thanks to jl90, whirlyeyes, core720, east2west and upower69)

1.) back up your rom

2.) install nofrillscpu or setcpu and smanager (apps)

3.) download zips

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

4.) install zips separately in safestrap do modules.zip first then overclock.zip

5.) reboot

6.) PROFIT!!

After this is done set profile with setcpu for screen on. make it exclusive priority 100.

... And I set the "Screen On" and set to 1335MHz, Set on boot checked, and Enable Profiles is checked. Other than that, i've done nothing to make custom Frequencies.

Is there a newer way than that? how do i set it manually to the 1300?

No that's the new method just follow the instructions for using smanager and lower max frequency to 1300. I put a stock freq. Table in a post yesterday use it as a guide.
