As per this part: After this is done set profile with setcpu for screen on. make it exclusive priority 100.

 

 

My SetCPU does not have "Screen On" as an option within the profile settings. Just "Screen Off" amongst some other settings such as <temp, <Battery, Ect...

 

How to accomplish?

 

My phone is currently terribly sluggish and laggy.

Press screen off it will change to screen on change gov. to hotplug or I use pegasusq. That should help! change scheduler to sio. If this helps like it!

First, you may want to wipe cache and dalvik cache and then fix permissions. Many people use a cache cleaner but I've always lost important data, photos, etc using one. That should help your sluggishness. Regarding set cpu  tap the screen off and it will change to screen on.

On another note, Does anyone use Skyvi and a 3rd party texting app like GoSMS or Handcent? I'm having a simliar issue with Skyvi not popping up to "Reply" by voice with the button as I am in another Rom.

@lazer make sure you select sio in your profile. There is a checkbox next to it to set scheduler with profile

I don't know what's going on with my setup. I can't press on "Screen Off" to bring up "Screen On", it just stays "Screen Off" and I also can't see any checkbox or anything of the like with a place to select sio.

 

I'm running a Droid Razr Maxx with SetCPU v2.2.4

 

Edit: Nevermind, I was using a long outdated version of SetCPU. Have the latest now and got it corrected now. :

I'm guessing I'm overlooking an easy fix, but I've managed to screw up my wireless tether.  It was working fine, I downloaded an updated version, and now it says it's running but none of my devices can see it.  I tried to search for a solution without luck, and figured the brain trust here would know.  Please help!

If you backed up previous version try restoring it if not try uninstalling update in settings/applications/all/mobile hotspot. Just shooting in the dark.

I restored my backup from backup pro, but it still isn't working.  Tried wiping cache and Dalvik and still no luck.  Wondering if I'm going to have to start over and re-flash the rom to get going.  Further research shows some others are having issues since the update.  What app are others here using for wireless tether?  Maybe I'll just switch?

Seem to have found a working old version online.....now maybe I'll listen to my wife and quit screwing around with my phone!  Not likely though.....

I believe bdh put a mobile hotspot hack in recent build. Try going straight to mobile hotspot from menu

Just returned from vacation for a week....$10 for in room wifi?  No thanks, I'll use the free tether, and it's faster anyway!  I also love to throw it in my iphone loving coworkers face when we are in a location without wifi....for a price I can give you the password for my Android tether.....  :-)

Is there a way to replace the Rage Messaging app with the standard Messaging app? Rage messaging breaks my DeskSMS which sends my text messages to my IM client on my desktop when I am at my PC.

I've done and accomplished all the suggestions posted yesterday regarding SetCPU, Governer, Wiping cache/dalvik - Fix Permissions, Scheduler set, Profile with screen on at 100 priority, ect... and I'm still experiencing some horrible lag in navigating the phone, starting apps, opening emails, ect...

 

Any further suggestions or ways to troubleshoot appreciated.
