Anyone having trouble changing the lockscreen? Every time I try, rom manager stops unexpectedly. It has done this on every build for me.

there is probably nothing wrong....more than likely you just had bluetooth on. Bluetooth on causes no audio in or out during phonecalls...reinstall the rom and turn off bluetooth and it should work

So the Bluetooth still does not work?
But wait....if you're here, who's running hell?

To remove the boot sound, use root explorer and follow these steps.
Go to system>media>click Mount R/O in the upper right hand corner>delete or change the name of the android_audio.mp3 file

Yes. Under system settings> rom control> general UI> disable boot animation. If your ego cant hand having your pho. E call you a pussy, dont do it. I ended up leaving mine on. Fragile ego in tact and no hurt feelings.

I reinstalled the Rom and made sure bluetooth was off in the phone calls. All is well now. The bluetooth works because I was streaming music to my car stereo on it, but it cannot be on in phone calls.

Bluetooth works fine. You just have to turn it off when not using it or you will not be able to hear people on the phone, and they won't hear you.

Smooth as really smooth stuff. Like ice.
Only issue was a power off after going from wifi and toggling AP mode cause data wasn't catching, only data issue. EDIT: couldn't get it to crash again
Flashed with BS full wipe, initially flashed with rom manager for curiosity. Worked, but didn't stay on long before redoing it the right way
Swagger button function realized;

And where's my 4g, thanks for that email to let me know it expanded, but not around me. OK done.

If anyone is having issues with this rom (ie. camera, double icons for browser and calendar) or anything along those lines then you may want to redownload the rom. DT tweeted that when the rom was pushed out the first time that there was a hiccup and it kind of screwed the rom up a little. Nothing serious, but it had bugs like the ones I mentioned above. I had those specific issues happen to me because I downloaded it within minutes of the release. Just a little tip for everyone.

I'm having an issue where when you get a text message the led does not blink. It does however blink for emails. I'm using handcent sms if anybody's wondering so if you could help me fix this problem it would be very nice :-) I have also check the settings and I don't see anything in there.

In Handcent's settings, change the led flash frequency...I always change it to "fast"...if you leave it at default, it seems to behave weirdly depending on the phone/rom...or you could try uninstalling & reinstalling Handcent....

I hope that helps :)

Just attempted to install on the wife's rzr and am having some issues: initially got stuck on Moto screen on first reboot, was able to hold power and volume keys to get back into recovery. Did another reboot from there and it got to the activation screen, but after several minutes trying to activate it came back as unable and gave options to restart or skip. First tried restart and it booted back into recovery(?) Rebooted again and same things. Selected skip after failed to activate 2nd time but of course didn't have any service of course. Restarting again (by holding down power button this time) kicked me back to recovery. So something definitely seems off. Did I miss a step or something? Any help is appreciated.

If you're using bootstrap recovery, that's normal to boot into every boot
If you wiped data, cache, dalvik, and format /system before flashing you shouldn't have trouble.
How long were you stuck at the "M"? It takes awhile to get past that on the first boot, as well as the boot animation

As for data that can come around quick, it could take a couple minutes.
I've had data on every boot on ab15, but you could dial:
*#*#4636#*#* which takes you to a menu
select phone info.
Scroll down to preffered network type and select wcdma preferred, it should go back to the top of the screen
scroll back down and select GSM only, wait 5 seconds
select "GSM/ cdma only" and you should get data shortly

If all else fails, wipe everything and reflash

so to install/reinstall

**just to be sure; CDMA phone, running .173(latest update), battery charged**
***CHARGE BATTERY. for safety***
1. go to bootstrap recovery (should end up there during every boot)( if you use safestrap go to that instead, same process)
**From bootstrap (or safestrap):
2. wipe data
3. wipe cache
4. wipe dalvik (in advanced)
5. format /system (in mounts and storage)
6. flash axiom ab15. should say successful when done, or anything other than failed to install i guess.
7. reboot
7.5. let your phone sit for 10-15 minutes, give it time. when you get to the setup screen give the data time to come up, like a minute or 2 until the bars turn blue.
8 A) if you have blue bars, proceed with setup
B) if you dont have blue bars, skip setup go to the dialer and do the *#*#4636#*#* method to get data, then open any google app and it will prompt you to sign in to your google account

EDIT: hopefully made post easier to follow, added some info, added asterisks.

Have you been able to flash any other roms on that phone and it activate fine? If not try a few other roms to see. Did you have any trouble getting it activated when you first got the phone?

My wife's phone gave us trouble getting it activated but finally activated after many hours on the phone with tech support and in the corporate Verizon store. I could not get it to re-activate on any roms including this one and stock after using RSD lite. The only way I was able to get data (or voice) was to restore my nandroid we originally activated the phone on. We have since replaced the phone and now have no problems activating it on any Rom.

When we say "activate" we're talking about setting up gmail and stuff, correct? if so, the trouble there would be no internet connection, and it should be skipped and done when theres a connection. thats the only trouble i can think of going through setup. if its activating it like its brand new...i dont know i only had to do that once

No, I mean establishing a voice/data connection. My phone and my wife's new phone (any phone should) automatically connect to voice and data when I flash roms, but her first RAZR wouldn't and it was a problem with the phone.

Thanks for the detailed install instructions. I had this rom on my razr maxx .173 and the data stopped working for hours yesterday! reboted and even went into phone settings again, but nothing would work. I reverted back to my stock rooted rom for the time being. I may give it one more shot after lunch today, but I am leery in doing so. I have to have DATA working lol.
