When I was running AB5, I was having a lot of data issues. I noticed that especially when I would use wifi at home, I would have to go through a ritual of toggling data networks, airplane mode, rebooting, etc, before I would finally get data back.

yeah i'm on AB5 build. yeah ill reboot sometimes and it'll come on for a bit but then just goes away

Same issues on build AB4 & AB5 for me. Anytime I toggle WiFi and come back to straight data, the data connection does not work. It takes a restart to get it working again. I've also had the data connection "time out" where it wont become active again after hours of non-use.

MAKE SURE YOU GET THE AOKP VERSION (2nd Link) and not the CM version. I didn't the first time and it screwed up my phone.

I'm on ab5 and am at work in a very weak 4g and at home no 4g service..I have been rocking full 3g bars and never once have lost data...its been great..can't wait to get 4g at home..but that's all up to the big red V.

Mine keeps dropping from a data signal to gsm and I have to go back nad change it.

On ab5. Trying to work on data. Wifi works fine, but 4g cuts out a lot. The most effective way is to go into airplane mode and then re-enable data. However, I tried to check if I was on GSM/CDMA (Prl) as posted above. Now my phone just constantly says "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." Bummer. Gonna re-flash ab5

Anyone noticing a bigger battery drain issue with ab5? I also had data issues after turning off wifi/leaving wifi area. gone back to ab4 as I didn't have any of these issues.

actually yes i did notice a little more battery drain on this build. i may do the same and switch back to AB4. gonna test it out another day or 2 first.

Explain great. The basic operation of the phone works great on both. AB5 includes the camera, AB4 does not. Data is automated on boot on AB5, AB4 it is not (requires the GSM / Phone Info trick). I haven't had issues if I don't turn on WiFi after I boot. WiFi seems to be the culprit. I have unlimited data so I'm not totally worried since I'm not getting great WIFi reception with either build.

I lie the features but guess Im not ready for ICS. My data although is supposed start and stay on I have noticed I have had to switch it from gsm to cdma several times. Either gonna go back to stock or wait for things to work out more. I love alot of the features and flashing but..

Installed as 1.09... after ab5 had been running great for 2 days..then reboot..and process phone fc...wiped everything and reflashed and now all is great again.

Camera works for me on ab4. And on ab5 I still had to toggle the gsm/cdma. Every phone is different and I feel like some builds will work better on some phones than others, just my thoughts, I'm no Dev.

The keyboard should not be an issue...did you follow all of the steps on install? If so, I dont see a reason for you to have issues. Wipe data factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, format system..then install zip from SD card....and Bam!!!!Magic..

it happens from time to time, just go back and wipe, and re-flash. should fix it. (i know is happend to me once)

turn your bluetooth off. It's one of the issues that supposedly don't exist
